Today’s Recipes Low-cal Carrot Cake
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 cup Splenda for baking
2/3 cup canola oil
1 1/2 cups whole-grain wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350?F. Mist a 9-inch round cake pan
with nonstick butter-flavored cooking spray; set aside.
2. Whisk together the eggs, Splenda and oil in a large
bowl. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda,
salt and cinnamon. Add flour mixture to the egg mixture
and beat well. Stir in the carrots and vanilla.
3. Pour batter into prepared cake pan; spread evenly.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted
in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in the pan,
then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Diabetic Strawberry Angel Pie
3 cups frozen or fresh strawberries
1 cup water
1 packet unflavoured gelatin
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg, separated
Artificial sweetener equivalent to 14 tsp. of sugar
1 tsp vanilla
? tsp almond extract
? cup instant skim milk powder
? cup ice water
9 in. Graham Cracker Crust
1. Slice strawberries. Pour water over strawberries; let
stand 1 hour at room temperature.
2. Drain water from strawberries into a saucepan;
reserve strawberries.
3. Whisk cornstarch and egg yolk into remaining water.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils
and thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
4. Add softened gelatin, sweetener, vanilla and almond
extract, stirring until gelatin and sweetener dissolve.
5. Stir in strawberries. Chill about 30 min. or until
mixture is partially set.
6. Beat egg white, skim milk powder and ice water in
a chilled bowl. Fold into thickened strawberry mixture.
Spoon into Graham Cracker Crust.
7. Chill, about 5 hours, until completely set. Variation:
Strawberry Angel Mousse
Prepare filling as in recipe above. Spoon into rinsed
1litre mold. Chill until set.

3 Are easier to train
4. Normally come when calle
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't want to wear your clothes
10.Don't need a "gazillion" dollars for college.

11.If they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

Priceless
A 45 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken
to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a
near death experience.
Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?"
God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months
and 8 days to live."
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the
hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants
and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and
change her hair color and brighten her teeth!
Since she had so much more time to live, she figured
she might as well make the most of it. After her last
operation, she was released from the hospital. While
crossing the street on her way home, she was killed
by an ambulance.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought
you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you
pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
God replied: "I didn't recognize you."
