Hey all you java Joes and Josies. Whacky Kiki here. Grab your javas
and come join me in some chatter chatter chit chit (that’s Kiki’s
way of saying conversation) and some clean cool freebie fun.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that my hubby has
just become a grandfather yesterday. His daughter gave birth to a
bouncing baby girl, Electra, weighing in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces.
Unfortunately the mom isn’t doing very well. Her blood pressure is
too high and she was diagnosed with symptoms of Pre-Eclampsia.
They did an emergency C-Section and the baby is fine and the mom
is on bed rest orders in hospital. We are hopeful that all will be
well. In the meantime, we are all enjoying this beautiful baby girl.

Well it’s a gorgeous day out today. The sun is shining and the
trees are blooming. The faster you tackle this list of goodies, the
more time you will have outside. So without further adieux, on your
mark, get set, GO!!!

All links are valid at time of posting but please don’t hold me
responsible for those that are gone by the time you view them.

NOTE: If asked how you found out about these offers, please say
a friend or search engine. Many companies, especially small ones,
do not appreciate an influx of requests and can get nasty. Thank
you for understanding.

May your hearts be happy, your mailboxes full and the mailman
forever busy. Until next time, Happy Hunting Everyone!!!!

Whacky Kiki

MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENTS

Cappuccino reported her car stolen one night when she noticed it
wasn’t in the driveway. Fifteen minutes later, she remembered that,
while at the plaza, she decided to walk home as it was such a nice
day and forgot the car in the parking lot. She had me call back and
report the car NOT stolen after all and went to retrieve the vehicle
from the lot a couple of blocks away.

When she arrived at the car, she noticed that there was an approaching
police car. They stopped, watched as she opened the door with her
keys, and drive away.

Not knowing what to make of it, they followed her home. My guess is
that they didn’t stop her because she opened the door with a key and
drove to the address the car was registered to. In between the
laughing and snickering, the police operator managed to send out a
report that the car, in fact, was not stolen but forgotten in the
parking lot.

The incident forgotten, Cappuccino went about her daily business. A
year had come and gone but She had noticed every so often a police
car following her. A few times she thought they were going to stop
and and pull her over. She thought it was odd but put it out of her
mind.

One day she had a car accident. As the car was RED, she felt it was
like having a bull attracted to a red cape and so decided to trade it
in for a newer model.

The day she went to pick up the new car, she found she couldn’t
transfer the ownership to the dealer in a most embarrasing way. The
salesman had done a check on the car plates for transfer of ownership.

While waiting for a call-back with the ok, two police officers showed
up and informed him the car was, in fact, a stolen vehicle and wanted
to speak with the owner. Embarrassed, Cappuccino explained to the
officers the circumstance of this fiasco. Thank goodness they had a
sense of humour. Apparently the report had never been cancelled and
the car was still listed as a stolen vehicle.

The moral of this story - BE VERY SURE YOU DIDN’T LEAVE YOUR CAR
ANYWHERE BEFORE REPORTING IT STOLEN. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE ACCUSED OF
STEALING YOUR OWN CAR!!!

DAILY FUNNIES
– If you’re looking for a job, try this approach.

A Senior’s WAL-MART Application

This is an actual job application that a 75 year old senior citizen
submitted to Wal-Mart in Arkansas. They hired him because he was so
funny.....

NAME: Kenneth Way (Grumpy Bastard)

SEX: Not lately, but I am looking for the right woman (or at least one
who will cooperate)

DESIRED POSITION: Company's President or Vice President. But
seriously, whatever's available. If I was in a position to be picky,
I wouldn't be applying here in the first place?

DESIRED SALARY
: $185,000 a year plus stock options and a Michael Ovitz
style severance package. If that's not possible, make an offer and we
can haggle.

EDUCATION: Yes.

LAST POSITION HELD: Target for middle management hostility.

PREVIOUS SALARY
: A lot less than I'm worth.

MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT: My incredible collection of stolen pens and
post-it notes.

REASON FOR LEAVING: It sucked.

HOURS AVAILABLE TO WORK: Any.

PREFERRED HOURS
: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS?
: Yes, but they're better suited to a
more intimate environment.

MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER?
: If I had one, would I be here?

DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM
LIFTING UP TO 50 lbs.?
: Of what?

DO YOU HAVE A CAR?
: I think the more appropriate question here would
be "Do you have a car that runs?"

HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION?
: I may already be
a winner of the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, so they tell
me.

DO YOU SMOKE?
: On the job - no! On my breaks - yes!

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?: Living in the Bahamas
with a fabulously wealthy dumb sexy blonde supermodel who thinks I'm
the greatest thing since sliced bread. Actually, I'd like to be doing
that now.

NEAREST RELATIVE....7 miles

DO YOU CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOUR
KNOWLEDGE?
: Oh yes, absolutely.

***Old People Rock!***

KIKI’S HELPFUL HINTS

Tips for Traveling Light and Minimizing Stress

• Wear your heaviest or bulkiest pieces ie: a wool blazer, dress
shoes, sweater or jacket etc…

• Don’t over pack your carry-on. If it has to be opened for
inspection, you don’t want everything falling out.

• Take clothes that do double duty, like pants with zip-off legs for
conversion to walking shorts.

• Use the empty spaces in places like your shoes to put stuff in them,
ie: socks, jewelry or other items small enough to fit.

• Invest in some travel sized cosmetic products, or buy small generic
bottles.

• Simplify your personal care products. Most of us carry around far
more things than the few that we actually use.

• Bring a selection of first-aid products, but don’t become a walking
pharmacy. Depending on the destination, you’ll probably need a little
more than sun block, Band-Aids, analgesic and anti-diarrhea medication
to combat that common travel affliction.

• Pack an empty thin nylon or fabric bag inside your suitcase for
souvenirs and duty-free purchases.

• Get rid of old luggage tags. Leaving them on may make you look
like a seasoned traveler but they can confuse baggage handlers.

• Personalize your bag. A small coloured ribbon tied around the
handle of a ubiquitous black suitcase distinguishes it from other
similar ones.

• If you take your computer, carry it in a plain case, not one that
has the brand name prominently displayed. That Apple label actually
says ‘Steal Me’.

• Make a packing list. That helps you avoid forgetting necessities
but also makes it easier to keep to the minimum.

• To make life easier and your check-in faster, dress defensively.
Don’t wear any jewelry or belt buckles that may trigger the metal
detector. Even an under-wire bra may trigger it.

• Wear shoes that are easily removable.

• Keep a container of antibacterial hand cleaner in your purse and
use it often. Nothing ruins a vacation faster than illness.

• A good resource for the dedicated light packer is The Packing Book.
