Welcome all to my Frothy Friday edition of Cappuccino’s
Freebies Caf? and a special warm welcome to all you new subscribers.
As you all know, my computer has been very sick with a terminal virus (get it,
terminal virus, ha ha) with, unfortunately, no sign of recovery.
The time has come to take it off life support and let it
sail away to computer heaven. I will
miss you, my friend, for I have shared my most deepest thoughts, secrets and
friends with you. My memories were your
memories. You will be missed but don’t you fret now.
I have met this wonderful person who knows of a really nice
young hard drive who recently lost his motherboard. Her owner decided to RAM the ROM right up the
wazoo and the poor thing couldn’t handle it.
She had a breakdown and never recovered.
So I have decided to adopt this young hard drive and my motherboard has
agreed to help nourish him. I will,
hopefully, be back in business real soon.
Because of her own loss, it may take some time before she is 100% and
totally accepts him as her own. I’m sure, though, that we will get along just fine.
In the meantime, my bestest friend in the whole world has
agreed to let me use her computer until mine has successfully integrated with
the new hard drive. I may, however, be
in and out on Fridays depending if her computer is available for me to use or
not. I hope it will be, ‘cause I have
missed our Fridays together.
While I have your attention, I would like to apologize if
there aren’t many freebies. During my
absence, there have been many changes, including the new website. I am still trying to get used to them. It may take me a bit but I will get there.

Today’s Recipe
Refreshing Double Melon Delight
*This pretty dessert is the perfect treat to cool off with
on a hot summer’s day*
Directions:
2 cups boiling water
2 pkg. (85g each) Jell-O Lemon Jelly Powder
Ice Cubes
1 cup cold water
2 cups honeydew melon balls
2 cups cantaloupe balls
6 small mint leaves
Method: Stir boiling
water into dry jelly powder mix in large bowl at least 2 minutes until
completely dissolved.
Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 ? cups.
Add to jelly mixture; stir
Refrigerate 30 minutes or until slightly thickened (consistency
of unbeaten egg whites).
Stir in melon balls and mint leaves. Spoon into 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmould.
Store leftover jelly mixture in refrigerator.
Makes 10 servings

Canadian Health Care
Two patients limp into two different Canadian medical clinics with the same
complaint.
Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.
The first patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has
a time booked for surgery the following week.
The second sees the family doctor after waiting a week for an appointment, then
waits eighteen weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't
reviewed for another month and finally has his surgery scheduled for a year
from then. Why the different treatment
for the two patients?
The first is a Golden Retriever; or a sports allstar!! The second is a Senior Citizen.
