HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!
Welcome all to my Frothy Friday edition of Cappuccino’s
Freebie Caf? and a special warm welcome to all you new subscribers.
Hey everyone in java land. How are you
all doing this fine morning. As you know, Cappuccino is taking a sabbatical for a couple of weeks so you all will
have to do with just lil ‘ol’ me on Fridays. She is going through some tough
times with her mom being ill and all so let’s try and keep her in our prayers and
send some good wishes her way. Hope
everything goes well with your mom Cap, take care.
I don’t know if you remember me mentioning my new dog. We’ve had him for a couple of months now and
finally decided on a name for him. Until
now, we’ve been calling him anything and everything under the sun (lol). His original name was Ruckus, which fit him
perfectly, but I didn’t like it. It took
a couple of months but we decided on Duke.
It’s easier to say when he is in trouble. Duke has his moments of bad or mischievous
behaviour, (every two minutes), but this one time I thought was so cute I
thought I ‘d share it with you.
When we first got Duke, he had a bit of a problem adjusting
to his new home. He had a couple of accidents that upset me and I let him know
it. He must have remembered me cleaning
up with toilet paper because one morning I didn’t get up in time to let him out
and I awoke to a long trail of toilet paper from the bathroom to the front
door. This upset me because Duke liked
to tare up the rolls one piece at a time
and spread it all over the house. What I
found instead was the dog pulling the toilet paper and trying to sop up the
mess with his paw. When he saw me, he
thought he was in trouble but how could I give him heck after that. It was a Kodak moment. I petted him and told him it was ok
and cleaned up the mess then put him outside. It’s a good thing I put that double roll in
the bathroom, otherwise I don’t think it would have reached the front door LOL. Thanks Cottonnelle. (Should have been paper towels. Would have made a great commercial).
Anyhow, let’s get down to business and flip through those
freebies so we can all get out and boogie.
Sunday is Father’s Day, so I would like to wish each every father out
there a very Happy Father’s day from Cap and myself.
May your hearts be happy, your mailboxes full and the
mailman forever busy. Until next time, Happy Hunting!!!

Daily Funnies –
An Irish Drinking Dare
A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland
and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard
drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of
Guinness back-to-back."
The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan's offer. One
man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back
up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?", asks
the Irishman
The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10
pints of Guinness. Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses
drinking them all back-to-back. The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits
in amazement
The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, "If ya
don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?"
The Irishman replies, "Oh...I had to go to the pub down
the street to see if I could do it first."
