Today’s
Recipe – Frozen Strawberry
Daiquiri Pie (hmmm, yummy) This memorable desert takes just a few minutes to prepare
1 ? cup graham cracker crumbs
? cup granulated sugar
? cup butter, melted
1 pkg. (300 g) frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed with
juices
1 can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups strawberry ice cram
? cup lime juice
? tsp. grated lemon rind
Fresh strawberries and whipped cream optional
Combine graham crumbs, sugar and butter in a bowl. Press into bottom and up sides
of a 9-inch
pie plate. Chill in freezer.
Combine strawberries, condensed mil, ice cream, lime juice
and rind in food processor
or blender. Process until smooth.
Pour into prepared crust and cover with plastic wrap. Freeze up to 3
to 4 hours or until firm.
Garnish with strawberries and whipped cream (if desired)
Nutrients per serving
(without strawberries and whipped cream): about 388
calories, 6.5g protein, 14g
fat, 59g carbohydrates.

Three Italian nuns die and go to heaven.
At the Pearly Gates they are met by St. Peter. He says,
