Subject: Eros & Rust - September27, 2004

Hello Subscribers,

From the desktop of Susan Snively, Assistant Editor

As many of you know, Kenyon, our wonderful and witty creator of Eros & Rust, is not as well as she used to be.  She has already announced that December will be the last issue of Eros.  However, I don??™t want to see that happen.

As assistant editor, I??™m seriously considering taking over the newsletter.  I would welcome any feedback from you.  Should Eros be kept running as a literary newsletter, celebrating the art of writing in its many forms?  To tell you the truth I??™m having a lot of fun contacting authors for the Author Showcases, interviewing them, and finding other content that inspires us all.  I??™ve also been struck with a couple of great ideas I??™d like to incorporate, but basically everything would stay the same.

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.  I don??™t know how everyone feels about Kenyon no longer sending this out.  I??™m sure I can talk her into still contributing her wonderful writing, so that wouldn??™t be a problem.

Please email me at sueateros@yahoo.ca if you feel I should continue or just let Eros quietly die out.  And if you do feel Eros should continue, do you have any thoughts or comments on what you'd like to see and don't want to see?   Personally, I would never let Eros become a How to Write forum - there's enough of those around (I know because I subscribe to probably every one of them!).

Thanks!
