Trumpeter #11 - Anti-Christ Answers

Instead of sending you the topic I had intended for today, I thought it best to answer a couple of readers? questions.

Dear Bro. Bob,

God bless you for the sharing clearly about the things of the last days.

About the suggestion that the anti-Christ may come from Europe, then can the Jews receive him unless he be a Jew from Europe. Please also make it clear whether the Christians will be around when the man of sin will be revealed.

Dr Njoroge

There are many reasons for feeling that the Anti-Christ may enter the scene from Europe.  The acceptance by the Jewish faith is one good reason.  The bible doesn?t tell us a specific location for his first appearance, but many orthodox Jews believe that the Messiah will arrive soon to deliver them from their enemies.  Their hopes for the coming Messiah would provide a solid stage for Satan to use to his advantage, especially since many Christians believe that the Jews are still the chosen people.  The Arabs also believe that the Deliverer will soon appear, so it isn?t difficult to speculate that eastern Europe could be the perfect area for Satan to manifest himself.

Remember that one of the ?Signs? is a treaty to be signed with Israel and another is the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.  These two events also point to a leader from that area.  The rebuilding of Babylon is another.  Let your imagination run wild for a moment and consider this.  Sadam Hussein has indicated an interest in moving his capitol from Baghdad to Babylon.  Might he enter into a treaty with Israel, allow construction of the new temple in Jerusalem and to begin rebuilding Babylon? (Babylon is only 55 miles south of Baghdad)  Could the Anti-Christ already be among us?

Regarding the question about whether Christians will be around when the man of sin is revealed:  If the rapture takes place before the Anti-Christ is revealed (Pre-Trib theory), then all Christians who are alive at the time Jesus returns will be taken away.  However, there will be millions converted to Christianity AFTER the rapture.  Some of these will be martyred, but many will be here to see the revelation of the Deceiver.
