The prophet Ezekiel was given a prophecy 2500 years ago
indicating that Russia would become a major force on the
world scene in the last days. (Ezekiel 38-39). He
predicted that her friends would march with her against the
mountains of Israel. The plan would be to finish what
Hitler had not been able to accomplish ? the eradication of
the Jews from the face of the earth. But the invaders will
be even less successful than were the Nazis. Ezekiel also
predicted that God would destroy the attacking armies of
Russia super-naturally in order to demonstrate his power to
the world and to demonstrate that He has plans for Israel.
These two prophesies are among the
most specific and easiest to understand. They pinpoint the
time of their fulfillment immediately following Ezekiel 37,
which is a description of the restructuring of Israel. He
states that the events will occur ?after many days. . . . in
latter years? Most scholars of prophecy believe that the
fulfillment of this text comes in the end times and that
Russia and her allies will go to Israel to ?Take a spoil?
(Ezekiel 38:13 KJV)
Ezekiel
states that it will take the people of Israel 7 months to
find and bury all the bodies of dead invading troops. God
has told him that He will send an earthquake so great that
?mountains shall be thrown down? and that great hailstones
and fire and brimstone along with flooding rain and
pestilence will be sent against Gog (Russia). It is
prophesied that it will take seven years to gather up and
burn all of the weapons of war when it?s all over.
Many
have questioned the idea of burning the weapons. While it
may have made sense when weapons were wooden arrows and
spears etc, it?s pretty difficult to burn tanks and
aircraft. But for quite some time, Russia has been using
Lignostone in manufacturing many of their weapons.
Lognostone was invented by a Dutchman. It?s a special kind
of wood used for ?coke breakers.? It is said to be stronger
than steel, is quite flexible (elastic) and burns better
than coal.
Russia
is allied with Muslim nations now, just as predicted by
Ezekiel. Together, they have the capability to do just what
the prophet predicted. All of the capabilities can be
traced back to WWI and the Bolshevik Revolution that
produced the Russian communist empire. It all started as a
result of WWI in 1917, the very year that the Jews began
moving back to Israel.
