Elana and I are packing, waiting to meet 20 plus people tomorrow morning here
in Israel for what we hope will be an annual tour. There could be a baggage
handler strike tomorrow please pray against it! After a day of traveling just
to get here, I know the tour participants will want to get their luggage and a
fresh change of clothes.

Also, please pray for the trip in general, that everyone will get out of it
exactly what the Lord wants them to.

Thousands of people took to the streets to watch and take part in the festive

I received a phone call at 10:00 AM from my wife informing me that she was
checking out! (of the hospital!) Despite the fact that the doctor had wanted
to keep her there until tomorrow, they sent her home today symptom-free. I went
and picked her up and she was beyond excited to get out of that hospital.

Last night about 11:00 PM one of her more elderly roommates began to accuse
Elana of stealing her bed. They gave the woman a sedative to calm her down,
but apparently it lasted most of the night. It was more comical than anything
else, except for the fact that Elana didn t get much sleep. Elana told her, I

First of all I want to thank all of you for praying for Elana. We are both sooo
grateful.

I just got home from the hospital and here is the latest. The doctor wants to
keep her there until Sunday to monitor her. He thinks that with the intensity
of the pain she had it might be something worse than a simple virus. If they
conclude that it is not a virus they will want to operate.

was dehydrated. They have admitted her into the hospital and she is receiving
fluids through an IV (or as Elana used to say when she was learning English, an
NIV :-). She was feeling much better as of about 9 AM this morning, but that
was after 10 hours of intense stomach pain. They say it could pass in 24 hours
or maybe a little longer. Of course, we are asking the Lord for supernatural
intervention.

We both thank you for standing with us and despite these attacks, we are moving
forward in Yeshua!

Emergency Room. She just got over the flue and this was her first night out in
days. We had an amazing time at our Young Couples group and then she started
having stomach cramps. They continued to worsen throughout the night. They got
so bad that she needed to go to the Emergency Room. Please pray for her. I will
go to the hospital as soon as I take our kids to school in a couple hours and
send you an update later. I do believe this is more than a physical sickness,
but a spiritual attack. Please pray.
