So to find out whats wrong and to get em exscused for school, I must go. ya know what though?? ok a lil chat . I get SO mad that these schools think I do not know if my own kids are sick or not....they absolutely will not excuse their abscenses with out a doctors note and here ya only get 8 and then they hold them back. I cannot afford to take them to the doc everytime their noses are running, um sorry! As a parent I should be able to call and say ok she is not feeling good..she might throw up!!!! And be excused that day. Nope nope nope, they want a doctors note. Ok, so anyway thats what my day will consist of after I get this done for you all I am going to throw my hair up and drive my sick little monsters to the doctor,and be told sorry its a virus ..can't do nothin...heres your note for school that'll be 65 bucks please. LOL **Swamp Recipe Of The Day** ~THE REAL HONEYBAKED HAM RECIPE #2~ Ingredients 1 (7 lb.) med. smoked pork picnic shoulder (bone in or out) ( I prefer a regular ham versus a picnic shoulder ham for Holidays) 2 cups sugar 1 cup honey or brown sugar packed 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, unthawed 1 tsp whole cloves Directions Preparation : Make crosswise slits, 1/2 inch apart, halfway through ham to where knife touches bone. Place ham in deep bowl and barely cover with water. Stir in sugar. Soak at least 2 days in refrigerator. Drain. Place ham in roasting pan, lined with enough foil to wrap completely. Pour honey or brown sugar and orange juice all over pork. Stick cloves all over meat. Wrap tightly with foil. Bake at 200 degrees for 6 to 7 hours or until done, unwrapping and basting occasionally with honey mixture.
