LOL I was grabbing a People Magazine...my newspaper hehe and I knocked over 3 packages of light bulbs and of course they all busted and made a loud noise so everyone in the store had to stare me down ...I had Chase with me so I thought about blaming it on him...bahaha but he looked at me horrified so I just could not do it to him! I started picking it all up and a manager ran over to me and wouldn't let because I could of cut myself, I seriously felt like a complete idiot! D.McBee Salem OR. **Swamp Recipe Of The Day** ~*~Party Your Tails Off Cocktail Shrimp~*~ Serve these succulent shrimp as an easy snack at your next New Years Eve party.... with a zingy horseradish cocktail sauce, and watch them disappear fast! 2 bottles (12 ounces each) beer or 3 cups water 8 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 3 bay leaves 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon fennel seeds 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact For the Sauce : 1/4 cup ketchup 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish 1 clove garlic, minced Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves 6 1. In a large saucepan, combine beer, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, fennel seeds, and hot pepper sauce. Mix well. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. 2. To prepare sauce, in a small bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, and garlic. Mix well. 3. Add shrimp to beer mixture, and simmer, covered, until shrimp just turn pink, about 2 to 4 minutes. 4. Drain shrimp in a colander.
