I have to get my children out of the house before they drive me insane!School has only been out for 10 days and I am feelin like its been a month! lol Today as long as the weather allows I am taking them to the zoo! Cheap & fun! Oh, gotta tell you guys! There was a turtle in our front yard...just sitting there. We live in a quiet area in a culdesac. Well I finally went out and checked out the little guy and SHE had dug a hole and was laying eggs! It was so cool! I have never seen athis..didn't expect to see a turtle choosing my front yard to start its family LOL Anyhoo, I think she was lost and some neighborhood kids had found her in the park and brought her here to our neighborhood. She layed her eggs then she left....I went out to look again there were 10 eggs! She didn't bury them though, don't they bury their eggs?? I was really excited about seeing cute lil turtles THEN 2 of my children came crying in the house and told me that they saw a bunch of crows or some kind of big black birds and they were EATING MY TURTLES MOMMAS EGGS!!! How sad is that?? I was like dang if I would have known that I would have buried them myself! We put fingernail polish on the mother's back so we would know her if she came back around... Anyway, thats my sad story! The neighbors were just out there loking in our yard wanting to see them and we had to go tell them the awful truth! INGREDIENTS: 1/3 cup chopped green onions 1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1 pound ground beef 1 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread, cut into 1 inch cubes 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 3 cups spaghetti sauce 1 cup water 2 cloves garlic, minced DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Mix together onions, bread crumbs, cheese and ground beef. Roll into 1 inch diameter balls, and place in a baking pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer in an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning and black pepper until smooth. Spread this mixture over each bread cube. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the grated mozzarella cheese. In a large bowl, mix together spaghetti sauce, water, and garlic. Gently stir in meatballs. Pour over the bread and cheese mixture in the baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly over the top. You will be instructed later how to use it. If you forget a Southerner's name, refer to him (or her) as "Bubba". You have a 75% chance of being right. Eighty-five percent begin their new southern influenced dialect with this expression. One hundred percent are in denial about it. The proper pronunciation you learned in school is no longer proper. Be advised: The "He needed killin'" defense is valid here. If attending a funeral in the South, remember, we stay until the last shovel of dirt is thrown on and the tent is torn down. If you hear a Southerner exclaim, "Hey, y'all, watch this!" stay out of his way. These are likely the last words he will ever say. Most Southerners do not use turn signals, and they ignore those who do. Northerners can be identified by the spit on the inside of their car's windshield that comes from yelling at other drivers.
