I just didn't have time for it and wanted to put more time toward my family and the website. Well just like I knew I would I am really missing everyone! LOL Maybe we could turn the Yahoo Group into a chat group?? I am seriously considering doing that and finding a few friends to help me moderate it and post lots of contests, recipes and f*reebies...heck just about everything! I know some people do not want the extra email. Which means if you belong to our Yahoo group if you don't adjust your settings you will get a email everytime someone posts. SO IF I open it up as chat I would go ahead and go in and set everyone to special notices so that you would only get our backup letter and the "Take 10" plus everyone that is a member is also eligible to win one of 2 Walmart gift cards given away monthly. I am almost afraid to do this though...if some folks do not understand how to change their settings they would leave the group when they got flooded with all the email! Di Di after you vote and you get the error page it still counts! TY!! *Swamp Recipe Of The Day** ~Blueberry Almond Muffins~ TY Raven! Yield: 12 muffins 1 box (7 oz) Odense Almond Paste, grated 6 Tbsp cold butter, cut into small pieces 2 cups flour ?? cup sugar 3 tsp baking powder 1 tsp fresh grated lemon zest ?? tsp salt ?? cup milk 2 large eggs 1 cup blueberries, rinsed and stems removed 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a twelve-count muffin tin. 2 Add grated Almond Paste, butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt to a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Pulse until butter and Almond Paste are finely cut into the flour. 3 In a medium bowl, beat the milk with the eggs. Add the flour mixture and blueberries. Stir gently until ingredients are just incorporated. Over beating will make a tough muffin. 4 Scoop* batter into muffin tins and bake for 28-30 minutes or until tops are rounded and muffins are golden. Cool in pans a few minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling. *Ice cream scoops are wonderful for scooping muffin batter quickly and uniformly. ~ *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ F*reebie Swamp joke of the day! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ You might be a redneck if...
