Easy Salisbury Steak 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 lb. ground beef 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 or 2 small cans sliced mushrooms, drained In bowl, mix beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion and 1/4 c. soup. Shape firmly into 6 oblong patties. In skillet over medium-high heat, cook patties, a few at a time if necessary, until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and discard any grease. Stir into skillet remaining soup and mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, simmer for 20 minutes, turning patties occasionally.
