Our present netajis are inclined towards US when an awesome river Brhamaputra is being diverted by China. Probably ours are right; they don't want those floods that devastate the people and properties and pay for them some compensation without compassion tag. may be there one more reason; We have more rivers than any other nation around. You can sacrifice one of them for a neighour .Or it may be; she has flown towards Indian terrain for centuries and now she has opted China for a change .just add one more sheela to the Panchasheela Policy of sixtees. Cry my beloved country no more !

The hsg societies cannot charge more than 12% per annum in the present regime of low interest rates in the market. Even the courts are not imposing more than 12% as penalties, which earlier used to be anything from 18% to 24%. First of all the Society Members may not have paid the dues because of some incompletions in the society building. In that case they can deny paying such compounding penal rate of interest, and prefer appeal in the District Forum. Or, file a joint appeal in the State Commission.

I agree with Jeetu tHat in principle it is absolutely right that children should be at school rather than in work force hence by law child labour should be banned.

However, ground reality is very different. before the enforcement of this law, did the government ensure that these children & their families will have food to eat & shelter to live? That atleast one adult from these families has a job so they do not starve?

That these children will definitely go to school & LEARN? That they will be provided life skills & vocational training so that they can earn & live with dignity?

Instead why not ensure that children are enrolled in school & older children of
12 years & older earn some money by doing suitable jobs. Ensure that their working conditions are not inhuman & that they are not exploited ?

Just passing & enforcing laws without providing basic necessities of survival for these children will do more harm.
