Eversince the Best Bakery case is ordered to be heard out of Gujrat for well known reasons and that too in Maharastra some wait and see is going on.The CM of Mah. expressed his pleasure over the order as for him, it turned out to be a matter of State Govt's goodwill to have the case shifted from Guj.to Mah.The order as well appeared on front page in almost all local dailies.While appreciating the gesture, one may also recall the treatment the Report of Shrikrishna Commission received when it came out.The order(shifting of case..) also implies that the Law is still in favour of those killed during the pogrom rather than the killers.The hearing of Best Bakery case in Mahrastra somehow has brought some relief But there are key elements in BJP holding high offices and positions ( may continue till the next Govt is if formed in May 2004! ) who have shamelessly applauded the the reaction theory coined by Modists. Now it's the people's turn to react sharply and they should come forward to vote against Modism and Advaanism and see that no such anti-nationalists in true sense are let in the Parliament . The Lab of Hindurastra has also been shifted to Maharastra well before Best Bakery hearing is shifted as has been quite evident from the recent happenings in the state over some unpleasant references about Shivaji made by Laines and Sen in their research books.It may not be a suprise in case hearings about such incidents are sought to be shifted from Mah.to some other state again.. |
