You should have been here last weekend for the DongSeongNo festival. It was really cool indeed.
The festival was in the DongSeongno area of downtown jungangno. It was basically a street festival with lots of stalls and stuff like that. In the areas surrounding the mall, there were taekwondo displays, modelling contests, song contests.....and dang those belly dancers were good !
Admittedly it was not as lively as the Gion Matsuri in Kyoto in Japan but hey it was a totally different festival on a smaller scale too.
The people of Jungangno and surrounds really got behind it and really enjoyed it. And I did to. It was just so great to see so many young people there just chillin, smoking, drinking and having a kickass time.
