Well todays post is not strictly about daegu .....
But it will no doubt help you while you are here
As in any place, your ability to speak a little korean would be beneficial of course ! So today lets do a little Korean !
We will start today by doing some basic greetings
lets go
Generally speaking all greetings for hello are this ANYANG HASEYO.
In formal situations its ANYANG HASHIMNIKKA
When you leave a place you say ANYANGHI KESEYO and the person still there will reply with ANYANGHI KASEYO
Good night is generally ANYANGHI JUMISHIPSIYO
Saying how do you do is as easy as CHOUM PEPGETSUMNIDA !
And of course my name is = CCHONUN ( name ) IMNIDA !
And of course this ever important question - do you speak english - is given as such YONGEREUL MALSUM HALSU ISSEOYO !?
Ahh the basics !!!!!!
Yep you even need them in Daegu !!!!!!
