Tile Treatments

Get Rid of that soapy film on ceramic tile walls or floors -- wipe

household cleaner (either diluted or full strength) or a solution

of 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water over them. Rinse thoroughly

with clean water and buff tiles to prevent streaking.

For Stained Or Mildewed Grouting

Apply a bleach solution (3/4 cup liquid chlorine bleach to 1 gallon

water) with a cloth, sponge, or toothbrush (wear rubber gloves

and old clothes in case of spattering), rinse thoroughly. Run an

eraser over grouting to make it come clean.
