Kitchen Appliances

To keep appliances shiny, wipe them with a cloth
or sponge wrung
out in lukewarm sudsy water; rinse and wipe dry
with a soft cloth
to remove water spots. To protect the
finish, apply a creamy
appliance wax every now and then. Give the
chrome trim on your
appliances a quick shine with a soft cloth
moistened with rubbing
alcohol.

Removing Rust From
Appliances

Here's a remarkably easy way to remove rust from
kitchen chrome.
Wrap aluminum foil around your finger, shiny side
out, and rub the
rust until it disappears. Then wipe the
surface with a damp cloth.
To clean under and behind an appliance, take your
car's snow
brush and whisk the dirt out in a flash. Be
sure to unplug the
appliance before poking around behind
it.
