For Kitchen Efficiency
==========================================
Whenever possible, keep toasters, mixers, and other small
appliances within easy reach.  If you store them away, it
becomes a chore just to get them out.  To keep small
appliances handy without extra clutter, put them behind
small, hinged shutters or doors at the rear of the countertop.
Store cans, jars, and small boxes in single rows so that
they're easy to find and reach.  Consider installing narrow
shelves for them along an inconspicuous wall or around a
cabinet's interior.

Keeping Your Kitchen In Order
==========================================
Too much clutter?  Go through each drawer and shelf, check for
unnecessary duplications (do you really need three can openers?)
and get rid of them.  Sort out useful, but rarely used, utensils --
the egg slicer, lobster claw crackers.  Christmas cookie cutters --
and store them in an out-of-the-way drawer.  Better yet, put them
in a box on a top shelf.
