Operating In A $10 Billion A Year Industry, With Only A Handful Of Competitors.'
IFLB Investor Highlights:
- Hired Kevin Bachus as president and chief
operating officer. Bachus distinguished himself within the industry as a
founding member of the Xbox project team at Microsoft Corporation, where
he was instrumental in conceiving of the cutting-edge videogame console and
securing funding for the project. Kevin also served as the group product
manager for DirectX.
- Infinium Labs is the only emerging public
company that delivers game content over broadband with a totally secure
delivery system. The Phantom doesn??™t use CDs, Cartridges, or any form of
inserted packaged media. It runs strictly on a internet based network.
- IFLB has developed PhantomNet-VPGN, the
world's first Virtual Private Gaming Network (VPGN).
- IFLB has agreements with Game Developers and
Publishers for game content.
- Infinium Labs, Inc., announced on January
26, 2004 that it has received a $15 million financing commitment.
The financing, subject to certain conditions, will be provided by
SBI-Brightline VI, LLC, an affiliate of SBI-USA, LLC and Infinium Investment
Partners, LLC, an affiliate of Trilogy Capital Partners, Inc. This financing
will set the stage for manufacturing the Phantom Gaming System.
- Operating in a $10 Billion a year industry.
- Entering aggressively into a video game
console market that is held by a few companies with a revolutionary console
can give Infinium Labs Inc. that unique advantage. (Microsoft Corp. - XBox
Gaming Console, Sony Entertainment Inc. - PlayStation 2, Nintendo Inc. -
GameCube).
Ziff-Davis recently
reviewed IFLB's Phantom game system and made the following summary:
- TIVO? Not yet, but it could be in the next
revision.
- Patches? Yup, and they're automatic.
- Game editors? Sure.
- Mods and maps and skins and total conversions?
Shouldn't be a problem.
- Multiplayer? Absolutely. In fact, a person
playing a Phantom can join a Quake 3 PC server and play against those
peoples whether the server is pure or not.
