About IBSG
The Subsidiary commenced business in 1997,
and is now in its fifth straight year of profitable operations selling
enterprise solutions that greatly enhance the operating efficiency and
create revenue for State Small Business Development Centers, business
associations (e.g. Chambers of Commerce) and Fortune 1000 corporations
through the licensing of its unique turnkey digital service center
software, which provides a broad range of digital budgetary,
administrative and commercial services (B2B, e-commerce, government to
business and enterprise business services) on a single platform known as
the NetPool Data System (copyrighted).
As a software provider, system integrator
and Application Service Provider, IBSG generates its revenue from license
sales, system modifications, system support, and a percentage of monthly
customer fees. The typical IBSG license agreement has a five-year term,
but, being updated on an annual basis, is almost invariably renewed upon
expiration (to date the Company has had only one licensee not renew, which
was due to the expiry of the licensee's contract with their client).
IGII Highlights
The Company has created a
niche market, through it's subsidiary IBSG, Inc., in the digital commerce
market and currently markets the system to state operated Small Business
Development Centers (SBDCs), business organizations (chambers of
commerce), large corporations (Fortune 1000 corporations, banks, Internet
Service Providers), City/County/State government (including Economic and
Workforce Development projects), and educational institutions (i.e.
community colleges, universities). The first SBDC contract, secured 2002
with the state of California, has an estimated value of $12.7 million over
a five (5) year period. The estimated SBDC market for IBSG is $400 million
with a total market of over $2 billion.
The market for the NetPool
Data System includes any entity that has a customer, vendor or membership
base comprised of small to mid size business enterprises (SMEs). The
NetPool Data System provides IBSG's licensees (i.e. SBDCs, business
associations) with the ability to operate a turnkey digital commerce
service center that integrates the above vertical market entities on a
single platform without requiring the business (the client/end user) to
have a pre-existing web site or digital catalogue. Branded and
administered by the customer (I.e. SBDCs, business associations), the
system is installed on a customer's server or hosted by IBSG and accessed
via their web site. Utilizing the NetPool Data System, the licensees are
able to offer a broad spectrum of services, including sales (services and
products), sales management, formal proposal-bid management (B2B/G2B),
sub-contracting & strategic alliance searches, fiscal management (A/P,
A/R, payroll) inventory control, regional market analysis and employment
services.
