Recipe of The Week:
APPLE PECAN CAKE:
6 cups apples peeled and diced
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cuo pecan or walnuts
2 cups flour
3t cinnamon
2t soda
Mix sugar and apples and let sit for 2 to 3 hrs to make juice
then add eggs beaten well then add ALL DRY ingredients ,and last fold in the nuts
bake at 375 in greased pan 9x13 for 45min
Topping for cake is :
cook this part untill clear.
1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar ,1/4 cup ,2T flour ,1 cup water ,
then add butter 1/4 cup
vanilla 1t
then pour all of this over the hot cake | | | |
