Happy New Year!
Celebrations are over for most of us and it’s time to get back to business as usual. I’ve heard many people say they’ve done some clean up, decluttering and organizing, as I have. Have you noticed that the Sunday newspaper advertisements are showing a lot of workout clothing and equipment? I’m sure it has to do with resolution time. Have you made any resolutions? Are you willing to share? If so, please send them to me at linor06@comcast.net.

My top 2 are to get healthier and more organized.

It’s 64 degrees in the Chicagoland area and Mammouth Mtn, CA already has 5 feet of snow and white out conditions, and 2-4 more feet of snow are expected. I saw it on Comcast news. There’s definitely something wrong with these numbers and/or places.

Thought to ponder:
The word “SILENT” contains the same letters as the word “LISTEN”?

World News:
LONDON (AFP) - The Queen Elizabeth 2, one of the world's most famous cruise ships set sail Sunday on its final global voyage before being turned into a floating hotel, British media reported.

She has travelled 5.5 million nautical miles -- the equivalent of travelling to the moon and back 13 times -- undertaken 25 world cruises, crossed the Atlantic more than 800 times, and carried more than two million passengers.

On return from her final world cruise in April, she will be refurbished and turned into a five-star hotel at a specially-constructed pier on the world's largest man-made island, The Palm Jumeirah.

Her sister ship, the recently-named Queen Victoria, set off on her first world cruise at the same time. Both ships will travel in tandem across the north Atlantic Ocean to New York.
