Guess I should tell you a bit about me. My name is Catherine and I am married to an oh so swell fella named Dale we have 3 wonderful(most of the time)children....2 girls and a boy. Brianna is 11, Cortlynn is 6 and Aidan is 3. We live in Southern Indiana...not much more to say about Southern Indiana! I have been doing the f*reebie thing for about 5 years but this is the first time I have dabbled in the newsletter business. Bacon Lettuce Tomato Avocado Wrap Ingredients: 8 slices bacon 4 (10 inch) flour tortillas 4 tablespoons Ranch-style salad dressing 1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced 1 tomato, chopped 1 cup shredded lettuce Directions: Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, or until crisp. Drain, crumble, and set aside. Warm tortillas in microwave oven for 30 to 45 seconds, or until soft. Spread 1 tablespoon Ranch dressing down the center of each tortilla. Layer crumbled bacon, avocado, tomato and lettuce over the dressing. There are two methods explained below. Please read through them first to understand the concept and pick a method best suited for you: Soap Kettle Method Cut clear soap brick into cubes with knife and place into Soap Kettle. Melt soap in Soap Kettle, following manufacturer??™s instructions. Do not leave Soap Kettle unattended. Caution: Melted soap is hot! Note: Soap Kettle holds a maximum of 5 lbs. of soap (80 cubes) ??“ see manufacturer??™s instructions. Microwave Method Cut clear soap brick into cubes, and place into a microwave-safe measuring cup. Each cube is about 1 ounce. Example: 2 cubes = 2 ounces or ?? cup Heat for 40 seconds, then in 10-second intervals until soap is completely melted. Stir in between melting intervals. Be careful ??“ melted soap is very hot! INSTRUCTIONS: Once soap is melted, ladle 1/2 cup of melted clear soap into glass measuring cup. Add fragrance to melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. Note: Do not add color. Working rather quickly, pour melted soap into one of the mold cavities, until it is 1/3 full. Immediately spray foam piece, front and back, with rubbing alcohol. Place face down into the center of the cavity, on top of the soap. Tap down and spray again with rubbing alcohol. Note: It is very important that you spray the foam pieces with rubbing alcohol so as to prevent air pockets. Repeat previous 2 steps for all mold cavities. Let soap set, almost completely, for approximately 5 minutes. Ladle 1 cup of melted, clear soap into glass measuring cup. Add liquid colorant and fragrance to melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. At this time, if you??™d like a pearlescent look to your finished soaps, add the white pearl powder in pinches and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. Spray all four mold cavities with rubbing alcohol and pour melted soap into each cavity until full. Spray all with rubbing alcohol. Let soap set, approximately 20 - 30 minutes. Do not move mold until it has set up a bit. While waiting for soap to set, cut strips of paper and decorate with stickers, markers, rubber stamps, etc. Once bars have completely set, release by applying constant, even pressure with thumbs to the backside of the mold. Wrap soap bars in plastic wrap, pulling it tight and snug, bunching the wrap in the back of the soap bar. Use scissors to remove excess plastic wrap. Wrap decorative paper around finished soap bar and tie a ribbon or raffia around bar. ****~~~~**** Jessica's Secret Tips! Fresh herbs Have too many?
