They wanted to make a night light out of them but Cortlynn started feeling bad about putting them in a jar....she thought it was mean so alas the lightening bugs are still outside. She was totally stressed out worried if she was doing something evil to them. It made me feel so bad and sad that she was so worried about them. I guess it is just weird and hard to see your kids so sensitive at times....especially when it is the one who is usually not sensitive! She is my tough and rough one~not afraid of anything~knows NO stranger~speaks her mind~headstrong and stubborn one! Well I hope you all have a great day! Hurry...get your sample now http://tinyurl.com/9m4lc AOL ****~~~~********~~~~********~~~~********~~~~********~~~~******** ~~~Laura's Recipe of the Day!!~~~ *Thanks Becki(Roo) for sharing this one with us* Banana-Split Tea Bread 2-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 medium-size, very ripe bananas, peeled and cut into chunks 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup corn oil 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 cup chopped unsalted dry-roasted peanuts or other nuts 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/4 cup drained crushed pineapple 1/4 cup dried cherries Preheat oven to 375 F. Lightly oil a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In a food processor, combine the bananas, milk, corn oil, sugar and vanilla and process until smooth. Add to the flour mixture and mix well. Fold in the peanuts, chocolate chips, pineapple and cherries, then transfer to the prepared pan. Bake on the center oven rack until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan on a wire rack before removing from the pan and slicing.
