I never saw the first season so it is weird to see how different and new and how weird Jeff sounds and all. Plus I was amazed that the survivors got so much equipment! OK OK I will shut up! I just get carried away over that show....wait until LOST comes back on! I will drive you nuts on Thursday morning with all my theories and analysis of the show! Enjoy the Recipe~Craft and Tip!!! ~^~^~^~^~^::~*~::^~^~^~^~^~ ~~~Laura's Recipe of the Day!!~~~ Thanks Nap! ;-) ~*^::Brothy Shrimp & Rice Scampi::^*~ Ingredients: 2 cans (14 oz. each) Chicken Broth (3 1/2 cups) 3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice 1 tbsp. olive oil 1 lb. fresh or frozen large shrimp, shelled and deveined 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 green onions, thinly sliced Directions: HEAT broth in saucepan to a boil. Add rice. Cover and cook over low heat 20 min. HEAT oil in skillet. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook and stir 5 min. or until done. PLACE shrimp in bowls. Stir lemon juice into rice mixture and pour over shrimp. Top with onions. Life of the Party Soap Fragrance of your choice Life of the Party Bath Salts, 32 ounces Life of the Party Liquid Soap Colorant of your choice Life of the Party Bath Salt Sachet Bags Scrapbook or Decorative Paper (optional) Ribbon or Raffia, ??-inch Wide (optional) Wooden Craft Sticks or Spoons for Stirring 2-Cup Glass Measuring Cups, 2 Kitchen Knife Small Spoon Rubbing Alcohol in a Spray Bottle Plastic Wrap Scissors Bath Salt Soap Bar Instructions: Cut clear soap brick into cubes with knife and place into Soap Kettle. Melt soap in Soap Kettle, following manufacturer??™s instructions. Do not leave Soap Kettle unattended. Caution: Melted soap is hot! Once soap is melted, carefully ladle approximately ?? cup of melted soap into a large glass measuring cup. Add fragrance to melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. Add liquid colorant and fragrance to melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. Pour a small amount of soap into mold cavities, pouring enough to fill slightly above the flower portion of each mold, and spray with rubbing alcohol. Let poured soap set for approximately 5 minutes. Spray mold cavities with rubbing alcohol. Sprinkle a small handful of bath salts on top of the semi hardened soap in the mold cavities. Ladle another ?? cup of melted clear soap into glass measuring cup, and add liquid colorant and fragrance to melted soap and stir with spoon or craft stick until well incorporated. Note: You can use the same color or a different color for a layered effect. Pour a thin layer soap covering the bath salts. Let soap set for approximately 5 minutes. Repeat steps 8 through 12, but this time, pour enough melted soap to completely fill mold cavities. Let soap set, approximately 30-40 minutes. Note: Do not move mold until it has set up a bit. Once bars have completely set, release by applying constant, even pressure with thumbs to the backside of the mold. Wrap soap bars in plastic wrap, pulling it tight and snug, bunching the wrap in the back of the soap bar. Use scissors to remove excess plastic wrap. Wrap decorative paper around finished soap bar and tie a pretty ribbon or raffia around bar. (optional) While waiting for soap to set, make Bath Salt Sachet Bags Bath Salt Sachet Bag Instructions: Empty bath salts into a glass measuring cup. Add fragrance, a couple drops at a time, mixing after each addition, until desired fragrance intensity has been reached. Add liquid colorant, a few drops at a time, mixing after each addition, until desired color has been reached. Tip: Using more than one color to tint the bath salts gives you a dramatic finished effect! Using a spoon, put about two tablespoons of bath salts into each sachet bag ~^~^~^~^~^::~*~::^~^~^~^~^~ ~~~Jessica's Secret Tips!~~~ Thanks Jess!!! ;) Great Tip!! ::~.Home Style Conditioner.~:: Before shampooing, massage a dollop of real mayonnaise (not salad dressing) into your hair.
