Enjoy the Recipe~Craft and Tip!!! :*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*: ~~~Laura's Recipe of the Day!!~~~ ~*^:: Fettuccine Con Pesto ::^*~ Makes 6 servings. 1 c fresh basil leaves ?? c olive oil ?? c grated Parmesan cheese 1 Tbsp pine nuts 1 teaspoon minced garlic ?? tsp salt ?? tsp ground pepper 12 oz fettuccine In a blender or food processor combine basil, olive oil, cheese, pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper. Process until smooth. Cook fettuccine in 6 to 8 quarts of salted boiling water, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook pasta until al dente, or "tender to the tooth", about 3 - 4 minutes. Drain pasta, reserving 2 tablespoons of the pasta water. Add the reserved pasta water to the pesto mixture. Presto stick-on felt, black 1 pkg. Wrights antique gold rickrack 3 yds. Wrights black gimp braid 1/2 yd. Wrights?® black twisted cord 1 battery-operated Jo-Ann Welcome Candle Lamp Hook-and-loop tape Fabric glue Directions: Measure 7-1/2" from bottom of one carton. Cut off top. Measure 4" from bottom of second carton. Cut off top. Tape boxes together along outside. Cover surface with black felt. From top of box, measure 1" down and cut a 2" x 6" rectangle in center of three sides. Glue rickrack around openings. Glue gimp over long corners, around the bottom & top edges and 7-1/2" down from top. Glue rickrack over gimp along top & bottom. Punch holes in two opposite window sides, halfway between the top of the box and window. Thread cord through holes for handle and tie knots to secure. Put batteries in candle.
