I actually did it and had one too many windows opened so I went to close one of them and when it asked for me to save changes I said no~OOPS! It was the letter! I will blame it on lack of sleep!! Thankfully I had saved some of it earlier so I didnt have to start completely over. Well yesterday was picture day and when Cort came home the first thing I asked her was how did you smile and she had that same goofy no teeth showing grin on her face that she did last year! UGH! She told me that she didn't want anyone to see her gap! It is actually getting bigger because one of her front teeth is loose so it is crooked and moved over a bit and she is so aware of it now. Poor thing. I personally think it is adorable. Anyway I also got some great deals on clothes yesterday for the kids. I was totally happy! I got 5 pairs of jeans 4 shirts and two of the cute little shaws for only $60! What a deal huh? Oh today is my all time favorite day of the week! LOST is on! I know all my fellow LOST fans are just as looney as I am about this show. I can't wait to see what is up with the new girl survivor. Enjoy the Recipe~Craft and Tip!!! :*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*::*: ~~~Laura's Recipe of the Day!!~~~ ~*^:: Italian Wedding Soup ::^*~ Yield: 8 servings Meatballs: 1 small onion, grated 1/3 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley 1 large egg 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1 slice fresh white bread, crust trimmed, bread torn into small pieces ?? cup grated Parmesan 8 ounces ground beef 8 ounces ground pork Freshly ground black pepper Soup: 12 cups low-sodium chicken broth 1 pound curly endive, coarsely chopped (1 pound of escarole would be a good substitution) 2 large eggs 2 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan, plus extra for garnish Salt and freshly ground black pepper To make the meatballs: Stir the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl to blend. Stir in the cheese, beef and pork. Using 1?? teaspoons for each, shape the meat mixture into 1-inch-diameter meatballs. Place on a baking sheet. To make the soup: Bring the broth to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and curly endive and simmer until the meatballs are cooked through and the curly endive is tender, about 8 minutes. Whisk the eggs and cheese in a medium bowl to blend. Stir the soup in a circular motion. Gradually drizzle the egg mixture into the moving broth, stirring gently with a fork to form thin stands of egg, about 1 minute. Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper. Ladle the soup into bowls and serve. Finish soup with parmesan cheese if desired. :`::`::`::`::`::`::`::`::`::`::`: ~~~Nap's Craft of the Day!!!~~~ If you would like to see Pictures of The Crafts please stop by our message board!! http://tinyurl.com/cf9wx AOL ~*^ Fall Mini Pumpkin Wreath ^*~ Supplies Wire wreath form Mini pumpkins to cover the form 20-gauge wire Dried moss Hot-glue gun Electric drill with various size bits Black ribbon (grosgrain, satin, or raffia) Instructions Start by drilling holes (from side-to-side) through each mini pumpkin. We used a cordless variable-speed drill with a 9/64-inch bit. Position the holes toward the bottom of the pumpkin where they will be less visible. Thread a 20-gauge wire through one of the pumpkin holes. Place the pumpkin on the wire wreath form so the wire is perpendicular to the form. Bend the wires around the back of the form and twist them securely onto the form. Continue wiring pumpkins to the form until it is covered. Fill spaces between pumpkins with bits of dry moss, using wire or hot glue to attach it. Make a hanging loop with an 8-inch length of wire and twist it securely to the top of the wire form. Finish off with a black bow that's been tied or wired to the top of the wreath. Note: since the mini pumpkins are fresh, they can begin to decay after a week or two.
