Exciting News from the Mystery Maiden!

Want to play a virtual mystery game?

Hello, Subscriber

I'm so excited about this, I had to send a special message out to the Reaper Reader subscribers. I am putting on a murder mystery game at the Romance Galleria on April 14th, and 12 characters are available to be played. Naturally, as you are one of my faithful subscribers, I want you to have the first opportunity to be involved in this fantastic event!

The Romance Galleria (http://www.theromancegalleria.com) is a virtual environment, where you get to pick your avatar and interact with others, and it's fantastic! There's a bookstore, cafe and individual author rooms. Shot In The Dark Mysteries is renting a room for a night of mystery and murder, where we can all get together and play a brand new murder mystery game, entitled "Murder At The Book Signing". Here's the blurb:

Romance author Michelle Miles (http://www.michellemiles.net) is kicking off her book tour and her fans are eager to meet her. Miles' best-selling novel, A Bend In Time, has established a cult following, and her fans are eagerly awaiting the second book in the Adventures of Ransom and Fortune Trilogy, A Break In Time. But when Miles' agent is found dead, the suspect list begins to grow, and fans and authors alike are held to determine who committed the Murder at the Book Signing!

Here are the characters available:

Marilyn Paradise
Marilyn is a Ransom and Fortune fan, and has attended the event to get her copy of the book signed. Unfortunately, she forgot her book at home, but Michelle Miles was gracious enough to give her a copy to be signed.

Sonia Sparrow
Sonia is a close friend of Michelle Miles, and the two have been friends for years. Sonia is excited about Miles' book tour, and is attending the signing to help her friend kick off the trip properly.

Fletcher Flemming
Michelle Miles' Publisher
Fletcher Flemming is the owner of Flemming Publishing, and is excited about his new best-selling author, Michelle Miles. He has come to the book signing today to congratulate his new star author, and has brought extra copies of her book to be signed.

Sophia Bernesque
Sophia is also a best-selling author, published by Flemming Publishing. Miles' success has forced her down into the #2 best-selling position, but Sophia takes it all in stride, and the two have a friendly bet going over how soon Sophia will bump Michelle from the #1 position with her new book, set to publish in August.

Risto Rasmussen
The President of the Ransom and Fortune Fan Club.

Vivaine Vincente
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Brenda Calhoun
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Rose Seabrook
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Ian Kristofferson
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Ross Westcott
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Germain Leblanc
One of Michelle's die-hard fans.

Tickets to the event are $10 (US). Even if you do not want to play a character, you can still attend the event. If you are interested, please send me an email with the name of the character you would like to play. In one week a general invitation will be sent out to my associations on myspace, Craigslist, Tribe etc, and a general sign-up sheet will be available on the website. Character assignments will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure you act quickly! Email me at mysterymaiden@shotinthedarkmysteries.com. Once again, these characters will go extremely quickly, so don't put this opportunity off for a great night of fun, murder and mystery!

Sincerely,
Mystery Maiden
