DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
In coordination with the Gender Adviser and under the direct supervision and guidance of the SEE Programme Manager (PM) as well as the overall supervision of the RPD UNIFEM CEE Office, the Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and management of the sub-regional CIDA funded project, and for supporting its linkages to UNIFEM's SEE Programme. 4) Gender Based Violence (GBV) Coordinators / Christian Children's

DESCRIPTION:
The GBV Coordinators in Africa and Asia will be responsible for managing and implementing grant-funded GBV projects and for integrating GBV into CCF's overall program strategy.

Primary responsibilities include:

Within the context of UNFPA's efforts aimed at alleviating poverty and improving people's lives as part of the MDG, and under the overall policy and operational direction of the LAC CST Director, the incumbent will contribute to enhancing national capacity to mobilize and obtain social and political support for national policies and programmes in the field of Reproductive Health Commodity Security [RHCS], as well as to building regional capacity to supply technical support in this area.

6) Technical Adviser in Reproductive Health including Family Planning

SUMMARY:
The overall responsibility of the Technical Specialist is to provide technical assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health in the implementation of the Government Reproductive Health Programme within the context of the Health Sector Development Programme (HSDP). 9) Global Survey Research Fellow / The Women's Edge Coalition /

THE ORGANIZATION:
The Women's Edge Coalition is a dynamic and cutting-edge international women's organization that advocates for international economic policies and human rights that support women worldwide in their actions to end poverty in their lives, communities and nations.

DESCRIPTION:
The Women's Edge Coalition seeks a Research Fellow for a part-time, 9 month-long project.  The Fellow will assist in designing, and will implement and analyze, an international, questionnaire-based Global Survey on economic opportunity for women. Working with the Director of Outreach and Membership, the Fellow will:

-   Work in partnership with staff to design and develop research plans and to develop the data collection instrument, including for qualitative and quantitative data, with an emphasis on qualitative data.
-   Distribute and track questionnaires.  Log and code data.
-   Perform qualitative data analysis and some quantitative data analysis.
-   Write project reports.
-   Manage distribution of payments to questionnaire respondents.
-   Perform other related/comparable duties as required and assigned.
-   Be an active supporter and participant in a collegial and productive work environment.

The Fellow position is a contract-based consulting position that will require a 9-month commitment (Oct 2006-June 2007) and a weekly commitment of 20 hrs/week.

This is a paid position on an hourly basis with the rate commensurate with experience.

is seeking a Researcher. The Researcher will focus on human rights abuses related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression worldwide under the supervision of the Director of the LGBT Rights program, who will provide guidance on the choice of research and advocacy projects.
