David is travelling for work again and since it is close enough to drive
I get to go with him. We have had some interesting dining experiences

They brew their own beer there and actually make a jalepeno beer! I am
not a beer fan, but had to taste some of David's just to say I tried it.
It was interesting - a spicy beer with a peppery flavor to it. David

First, last week, I ran a free sticker for Obama. I received several
emails from people upset that I didn't also list one for McCain. Please
note that I did not include one for McCain because I couldn't find one that
had not already expired or that wasn't in some way vulgar.
My omission of McCain and inclusion of Obama was not intended to be in
support of one candidate over another. On the contrary, this is a freebie
newsletter and I was simply listing a freebie that I had found. I have
made a concerted effort to keep my political opinions to myself as this
is not a political newsletter. I apologize to anyone that was offended.
Most were nice in their questioning of my methods, but others were rude.

It's been a quiet week for me. Josh is in Bible camp and David is in
California on business with Microsoft. He had an off day today and took
a tour of the Napa Valley Vineyards. Daniel has been on the computer
most of the week chatting with his friends. I had to walk up to the
store just to see another human being - hehe!

I also wanted to tell you about a pet food that I found that I really

try and some literature about the company. My cat absolutely loved

I just wanted to write and tell everyone Happy 4th! Watch out for sunburn and
handle those fireworks safely. Thanks to my international readers for bearing
with me for the day.

David and all the kids are already on their way to Pensacola to enjoy
the fireworks with his parents and my sister and her kids. I am disappointed
that I can't join them. This would have been my first
4th of July back home since Hurricane Ivan 5 years ago. My plans got changed
though, and I will be going on Monday night instead.

This would have been our first 4th together and it's a very important holiday
to David. He is fiercely patriotic and always has been. When we were kids he
was the Captain in ROTC. He joined the Army while we were still dating in high

Hi. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Last week, I was really sick.
Something bit me on my ear (I'm assuming a spider) and my whole ear,
neck and down in my left shoulder was swollen up. It even effected
my sinuses. I've been on Erythromycin all week and am finally starting
to feel better. Since I have been sick, I haven't had a lot of freebie
finding, but do have a few things to share with you below.

Yesterday was my son's birthday. He turned 17. Many of you probably
remember when Daniel turned 9! I can't believe I have a child that's
about to be an adult. Of course, I am also starting over with kids.

Hi. Ugh! What a day?!? I don't know why I haven't been able to
get anything accomplished today. I keep telling myself that when I
want to work on the site, I need to go to Starbucks. Just the aroma
of caffeine wafting in the air is enough to spark my creativity - hehe!

On the funnier side of life, I am new to Minnesota and have never heard an air
raid siren before this late in the evening. I had heard one about a month ago
and David explained to me what they were. Personally, I don't think they are
near loud enough. I could just barely hear it. I will need to get a weather

Ok. We have finally picked a date!! We are getting married on July 8.
Yay!! I just think the name Amber Taylor has such a nice ring to it.
I have met and love his family. I can't wait to be a part of it. I
love David's kids, as well. Mine are teenagers and are almost ready
to spread their own wings and fly, so it is nice to once again have
young kids in the house. His are 9 and 7 - a boy and a girl. I
finally got my little girl :) So, anyway, God is really blessing my
life now. David loves to quote the verse that says that "he will
give you the desires of your heart." I feel I am finally getting the
desires of my heart. My mother says she finally feels like I am happy
and she hasn't seen that in 20 years. I must admit, I have been acting
like a giddy girl lately.

Ok. I have some really great news. For some of my long time friends
on this newsletter this will be a surprise. You guys were with me when
John an I got married and the ups and downs of that not-so-great
endeavor. You survived my lengthy divorce which was finally recently
concluded and have joyed with me in my relationship with David.

He popped the question!! He asked me to marry him -YIPPEE! David
and I have actually known each other for 21 years. My mom always
referred to him as "the one." Even my sister is saying I am
extremely fortunate to have a second shot with my soul mate. Everyone
who knew us as a couple so many years ago knows how we were together.

Hi again :D Thanks for joining me for lunch today. I'm not sure what

A lot has happened since I last wrote. My divorce was OFFICIALLY
finalized for one. That is the biggest change.

2nd grade play - Mice in Space. I thought Lydia was the cutest mouse there.

they are trying to teach kids to be accepting of people with differences

Well, it's official. This is the coldest place on the planet in

Hi. Well, my divorce was finalized on the 5th of the month. I am
happy that the ordeal is over. Of course, it's hard to say that
you are happy that your marraige failed, but I am happy to be able
to move forward from here and satisfied that I have already started
this new year off with a fresh perspective.

On the plus side, I have started blogging this past year and have

Happy New Year - be it a little belated. Things have been as hectic
as ever here. I am still adjusting to life on this frozen piece of
Tundra called Minneapolis. I swear I don't know how people survive
in this, but I guess I am about to figure it out.

My divorce will be final on February 5 after over a year of negotiating
and getting through it all. UGH! I will be happy to have it all

Snow still on the ground here - BEAUTIFUL snow - except along the
