Seventeenth Edition, June/July, 2008 My Trip To Europe My husband and I took a three week trip to Europe in June, our first long trip without the kids since they’ve been born. We had a wonderful time, and you can read about the trip and see a few photos on my blog at: bethgroundwater.blogspot.com/ Publications I have a poem, “Ride the Wind”, that will be published August 4th (Opening Day of the Sturgis, SD, 2008 Motorcycle Rally) in RUBBER SIDE DOWN, The Biker Poetry Anthology, edited by Jose Gouveia ("JoeGo"). All the poetry, including mine, is about motorcycle riding even though I've never ridden a motorcycle! The contributors include the late Allen Ginsberg and Thom Gunn, Diane Wakoski, and a host of writers from the motorcycle press, including Dr. Martin Jack Rosenblum (Harley-Davidson Historian Emeritus), Susan Buck, and K. Peddlar Bridges. It will feature photos by noted motorcycle photographer, Michael Lichter ("Choppers, Heavy Metal Art"). The anthology will be published by Archer Books, and along with listings on Amazon, etc., you can see the cover art and a description of RUBBER SIDE DOWN at http://www.archer-books.com/. Working with JoeGo has been a hoot, and I can't wait to get my hands on my own copies. Also, I contributed a blog entry, that was posted July 5th, to the Mystery Muse blog portion of the website for the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
