Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - July17, 2006

Greetings, Cruise Fans,

Welcome to the July 17 edition of the 7 Seas
Cruise News, brought to you by your best cruise
discount resource, Pat Crane of 7 Seas Cruises.
As many of you already know, Pat discounts
cruises! Every price he can legally cut, he will!
His goal is to provide the absolute lowest price
aboard the ship of your choice on the itinerary
you want on the day you wish to sail. So, call
him, toll-free at 1-866-424-1090 and plan a
discounted getaway today!

Pat was able to provide client Jim B. from Texas
a great surprise this week. When final payment
time comes around, Pat makes it a policy to check
with the cruise lines to find out if there has
been a price reduction since the cruise was
originally booked. Well, this week, Pat learned
there had been! And Jim B. saved an additional $
318 on his upcoming cruise. I really hate to brag
about my husband, but I know that Pat is one of
very, very few cruise agents who will ask that
question-and fewer still who will pass any price
savings back to their clients. But he does! Don't
ya love it??

Ok, time for some timely cruise news...

NCL is pleased to announce the newest enhancement
to our e-documents - e-luggage tags!  The e-
luggage tag will allow the guest to complete and
attach to their baggage prior to arriving at the
pier/airport. The bag tags will now be sent with
all e-documents immediately. The directions are
simple: Print out on your normal printer, Fill in
name, etc., Fold, wrap around luggage handle, and
Staple. E-documents contain all aspects of the
hard copy documents now - and they arrive much
sooner than traditional documents. Watch for them
when you book your next NCL cruise! It's last
call for a great 4-night cruise, departing
Thanksgiving-at a fabulous price. We have inside
and outside space remaining. You'll save about 40%
on the current price, but you'll have to act
quickly. This is group space and Celebrity will
be recalling our leftover group space any day now.
This cruise is aboard the better-than-new, just
refurbished Celebrity Century!  Lovely!

The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention
Act of 2004 requires that by January 1, 2008,
travelers to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda,
Panama, Mexico and Canada have a passport or
other secure, accepted document to enter or re-
enter the United States.  In order to facilitate
the implementation of this requirement, the
Administration is proposing to complete it in
phases following a proposed timeline, which will
be published in the Federal Register in the near
future.  In the proposed implementation plan,
which is subject to a period of initial public
comment, the Initiative will be rolled out in
phases, providing as much advance notice as
possible to the affected public to enable them to
meet the terms of the new guidelines. The
proposed timeline will be as follows: December 31,
2006 - Requirement applied to all air and sea
travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and
South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda, and
December 31, 2007 - Requirement extended to all
land border crossings as well as air and sea
travel.  This is a change from prior travel
requirements and will affect all United States
citizens entering the United States from
countries within the Western Hemisphere who do
not currently possess valid passports.   This new
requirement will also affect certain foreign
nationals who currently are not required to
present a passport to travel to the United States.
Most Canadian citizens, citizens of the British
Overseas Territory of Bermuda, and to a lesser
degree, Mexican citizens will be affected by the
implementation of this requirement.

For consumers seeking a fun, affordable vacation
aboard one of the cruise industry's most modern "
floating resorts," Carnival Cruise Lines' new 110,
000-ton Carnival Freedom will offer a 14-day
transatlantic crossing in fall 2007 - with prices
starting at low as $799 per person. The Carnival
Freedom's transatlantic crossing will depart Rome
( Civitavecchia) Oct. 28, and arrive in Miami Nov.
11, 2007.   The voyage begins with an overnight
call in Civitavecchia on the first day of the
cruise, providing guests an opportunity to
explore the many sights of Rome and the
surrounding area, followed by extended visits to
some of Europe's most charming and historic
cities, including Livorno, Italy; Malaga, Spain;
and Funchal (Madeira), Portugal. Dozens of shore
excursions, including visits to Florence and Pisa
and opportunities to explore the Andalusian
countryside and the island of Madeira, are
available in conjunction with this voyage.  Prior
to the transatlantic voyage, Carnival Freedom
will debut with a series of 12-day Mediterranean
cruises from Civitavecchia that include the line'
s first-ever visits to the Greek Isles and Turkey.
The program will run March 14 - October 16, 2007.
Encompassing 13 passenger decks, the new Carnival
Freedom will feature four dining rooms, including
two two-level main dining rooms, an expansive
poolside eatery featuring a 24-hour pizzeria and
ice cream/frozen yogurt and a reservations-only
supper club serving aged prime beef and other
gourmet cuisine. The ship will also house 22
lounges and bars with interiors inspired by
prominent design themes and styles of the past
decades and centuries. Also featured will be a 14,
500-square-foot health and fitness center, an
Internet caf?, ship-wide Wi-Fi access, a jogging
track, a 214-foot-long serpentine water slide and
the "Camp Carnival" and "Club 02" programs
offering supervised activities and expansive
facilities for children and teens, respectively.
Freedom will also feature a variety of spacious
accommodations, including spectacular penthouse
suites and a wide selection of cabins offering
dramatic ocean views from private balconies -
ideal for scenic cruising. All of the ship's 1,
487 staterooms will include the new "Carnival
Comfort Bed" sleep system with plush mattresses,
luxurious duvets and high quality linens and
pillows. Prices for the Carnival Freedom's 14-day
transatlantic voyage begin at $799 per person
based on double occupancy.  Special rates for
third and fourth guests sailing in the same
stateroom, as well as round-trip air supplements
from a variety of North American gateways, are
also available. Call Pat for discounts!

That's it from Boca Raton today. Hope you all
have a terrific week!

Teri
