Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - August22, 2006

Greetings, Cruise Fans

Welcome to the August 21 edition of the 7 Seas
Cruise News. Several of you pointed out that I
didn't quite get around to putting out a
newsletter last week. I apologize, and I thank
you for your patience. Sometimes my day job gets
in the way! Until I get to retire, raise
miniature cows, write some kids' stories and
cruise as often as possible, I have to carve out
time to research and write this little newsletter.
I'll try to do better.

Pat reminded me to tell you about a new procedure
that most of the cruise lines have put into place.
After you've purchased your cruise and have your
confirmation number, the cruise lines ask that
you go on line to register. Their reasoning is
that by doing so, they know who you are (in
compliance with the Homeland Security Act) and
you'll save time in line when you check in for
your voyage. It works! Pat and I have observed
the difference it makes when passengers have pre-
registered. It really helps! If you have any
questions, give Pat a call! And don't miss the
major bargains Pat has on cruises this fall.
Seriously cheap! Between the price of gas and
airline security issues, not a lot of folks are
cruising. This means that cruise lines need you.
And they show their gratitude with the lowest
prices of the year. So, let's go, all ready! Pat
and I couldn't stand how inexpensive the prices
were, so we're taking a 4-day cruise on the
Majesty of the Seas, sailing on Labor Day. It
calls at Nassau, Royal Caribbean's beautiful Coco
Cay and Key West. You're invited to join us, or
opt for a longer, more exotic itinerary. Visit
www.7seascruises.com and look over the choices.
Then call or email Pat for a price. His will
almost always be lower than any prices posted on
line. You can reach him at 1-866-424-1090, toll-
free. The Star Princess has a nice little 5-night
voyage this fall, calling at Nassau, Grand Turk (
Turks and Caicos) and Princess Cays, It's just
one of dozens of fascinating itineraries on
beautiful ships at astounding prices this fall.
Call Pat to chat about 'em!

And please remember that Pat charges no
cancellation fees, booking fees or any other
silly fees. The price he gives is your real price-
with no extras or add-ons. If you have to cancel,
you are subject only to cruise line penalties
that may apply. You won't find a better deal or
better service anywhere! You have my word on that.

Now, a bit of cruise news...

Former Yankees Graig Nettles, Frank Howard and
Stan Bahnsen, Hall-of-Famer Bob Feller and
slugger Ken Griffey make up a powerful lineup of
players on MSC Lirica's Nov. 26 sailing. The 11-
night roundtrip itinerary from Fort Lauderdale
calls at Ocho Rios, Cartagena, San Blas,
Cristobal, Puerto Limon and Roatan Island.  Four-
time All-Star Vida Blue, Earl Weaver, Stan
Bahnsen, Randy Hundley, and Cito Gaston are in
the lineup for the April 18 sailing, which calls
at San Juan, St. Maarten, Grenada, Barbados, St.
Lucia, Tortola and Samana. Each baseball theme
cruise includes free interactive passenger/player
activities, including a player-hosted trivia game
in which guests test their baseball knowledge,
question-and-answer sessions with the players,
and a lively story-telling session in which the
players share candid revelations about some of
the "characters" of the game. Players will also
host pitching, hitting and defensive strategy
clinics. Perhaps the most popular activity is the
free autograph session at the end of the cruise.

Onboard MSC Sinfonia's May 7th and Oct. 22nd 7-
night Mediterranean itineraries, golfers can
improve their game under the guidance of famed
trainer Chuck Cook and other professionals via
seminars, a theory and demonstration session,
putting green and shore-side golf tournaments,
and then practice their new skills at the golf
simulator, mini-golf course and golf cage.
Golfers can play at some of Europe's best courses,
as they sail roundtrip from Genoa to visit Monte
Carlo, Spain, Malta, Tunisia and Rome.  Friday,
August 4, 2006 marked a special milestone for the
newest member of the Royal Caribbean
International® fleet.  Currently under
construction at Aker Yards in Turku, Finland,
Liberty of the SeasSM was moved from dry dock to
wet dock last Friday in a special Float Out
Ceremony.

Celebrity's Constellation was originally
scheduled for an extended dry-dock in September
2007 for some special project work to improve
ship performance. Due to scheduling constraints
with the yard, there was a change to the project
timeline for other vessels that has subsequently
affected the timeline for this Celebrity vessel.
The extended dry-dock for Constellation has now
been changed to April 2007. For this reason, the
Transatlantic sailings have been changed, two
sailings have been cancelled and two new sailings
have been added. Constellation's new 12-night
Eastbound Transatlantic voyage will sail from
Fort Lauderdale, FL to Southampton, England
departing on Friday, April 13, 2007, 10 days
earlier than originally slated. The 10-night
Ultimate Caribbean sailing, originally scheduled
for April 13, 2007, was cancelled. A new 5-night
Ireland/Channel Islands cruise has been added,
departing on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, round-
trip Southampton, England. Constellation will be
in dry-dock for 19 days beginning April 30, 2007.
The 14-night Scandinavia/Russia sailing
originally slated for Saturday, May 5, 2007 has
been cancelled. Since the 19-day dry-dock in
September has been moved to April, a new
Scandinavia/Russia sailing has been added,
departing round-trip from Dover, England on
Saturday, September 1, 2007.  Constellation's new
12-night Westbound Transatlantic cruise will sail
from Dover, England to Cape Liberty, New Jersey
departing on Saturday, September 15, 2007

A 35-day drydock for Carnival Cruise Lines' 2,052-
passenger Fascination, scheduled to begin in
September 2006, will include significant
renovations to a broad range of shipboard areas.
Following its multi-million-dollar renovations,
the Fascination will feature a new nine-hole
miniature golf course on Sun Deck as well as the
new Caf? on the Way, a patisserie serving
specialty coffees and sweets, located along the
ship's Promenade Deck. Other new features will
include a teen club, part of the line's ongoing
expansion of its popular "Club 02" teen program.
Additionally, a new 1,600-square-foot Children's
World play area, located on Verandah Deck, will
enhance the line's top-rated fleetwide Camp
Carnival children's program, which hosts some 525,
000 kids annually. Debuting on Empress Deck will
be a new art gallery, where guests can browse the
diverse and stunning array of artwork offered
during Carnival's popular shipboard art auctions.
A new Atrium Bar on the same level will provide a
convivial venue for guests to enjoy cocktails and
listen to music. Other changes on the ship will
include a newly-designed Internet caf? and a new
1,200-square-foot conference room. The
Fascination's luxurious Spa Carnival will also be
renovated and include new private treatment rooms,
updated exercise equipment, and a host of
cosmetic enhancements to the 12,000-square-foot
facility. Staterooms and suites on the
Fascination will be refurbished, as well, to
include flat screen TVs, an entirely new d?cor
and completely remodeled bathrooms. A number of
crew areas will also be renovated. Additionally,
the refurbishment will include upgrades in
carpeting and upholstery, and some modifications
to the layout of the aft lounge and casino area
to accommodate larger groups. The 70,000-ton
Fascination sails year-round from Miami on three-
and four-day cruises.  On this route, three-day
cruises depart Fridays and overnight in Nassau
while four-day voyages depart Mondays and stop at
Key West and Cozumel.

Okay, that's it for this edition. Pat is standing
by, waiting for your calls. Okay, he's probably
got his feet up, reading a library book with some
old Western on TV, but he is waiting for your
call.

And until next week, smooth sailing, sailors!

Teri
