Greetings, Cruise Fans Welcome to the October 3 edition of the 7 Seas Cruise News. Pat asked me to devote this entire newsletter to our friends at Royal Caribbean. Why? Well, they are up to some very exciting dealing just now, starting with the announcement of military rates as of yesterday! Rates will vary depending on the ship and itinerary and sailing date, however Pat has been assured that these will be substantial and noteworthy discounts. The rules go like this... The discounts are available to active personnel currently serving in the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserves or Canadian National Defense. The same military discounts are also offered to retired personnel from any of these forces who have at least 20 years of service, are medically retired, or are 100% disabled. The rates are also extended to those honorably discharged with a minimum of 20 years of service. The only other rule is this-the discount applies only to the qualifying military person and those who share the same cabin with him/her. No discount is available for those in adjoining or other cabins. All in all, a sweet deal for our vets and active duty personnel. In the past it has been necessary to deal with a military travel agency to get a military discount. All that has changed. Now Pat is your conduit to very special savings on your next Royal Caribbean cruise. And incidentally, the same military rates also apply to Celebrity Cruises! Now, what about you-if you're not in the military? Well, Royal Caribbean is stirring things up for you, too! Pat says there are a half dozen special rates and promotions available for virtually every Royal Caribbean sailing. Resident promotions! Air promotions! Senior deals-even an 11-night cruise in an ocean-view cabin for $699 per person! (taxes and fees extra) Just plain deep discounts! Don't hesitate. Call Pat now at 1- 866-424-1090 to talk turkey about cruise bargains. And speaking of turkey, Royal Caribbean has announced some amazing bargains for holiday cruises! Why not take the family to someplace warm and exotic for the holidays this year? The best rates seem to be on 7-night Western Caribbean sailings on the Grandeur of the Seas from New Orleans, and 7-night Western Caribbean holiday sailings on the Splendor of the Seas from Galveston, but excellent prices and deep discounts are also available on the Rhapsody of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas and the Majesty of the Seas. Holiday cruising is very special. The ships are decorated beautifully. The crew is in a holiday frame of mind. The ports are wonderful-filled with decorations and holiday music! The food is festive. The celebration genuine, and you skip all the work and relax with your loved ones, enjoying holiday services, sunny beaches and parties together. All play. No work. Perfect! On our holiday cruises, we've had some great times! I urge you to pack Santa hats for everyone-your entire dinner table plus your waiter, bus boy and headwaiter. You'll make lasting friendships and brighten everyone's holiday. We staged what we called the "7 Days of Christmas" on one holiday cruise-with special goodies at dinner each night of the cruise-Santa hats, candy canes, Christmas stockings, small gifts, English Christmas crackers, and battery-powered candles (the kind you use at home in windows). Everyone loved their nightly surprises! If you'd like to know more about these spectacular (and very affordable) celebrations at sea, call Pat today-1-866-424-1090! This could be your year for a beautiful blue water holiday! Okay, that's it for now. Hope everything goes your way this week and we'll see you here next week with more cruise news. Smooth sailing!
