Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - March06, 2007

Greetings, Cruise Fans

Welcome to the March 5 edition of the 7 Seas
Cruise News e-letter. We have a lot of cruise
news to share with you, but first Pat asked me to
alert all NCL fans to a very special program
available through March 11. Call Pat for
excellent prices on NCL cruises and a lower
deposit to secure your cabin. You'll also get
very special rates for the third or fourth
passenger in a cabin-as low as $100 for a 5-night
cruise or $140 for a full 7-night. Rush to the
phone and call Pat toll-free at 1-866-424-1090.
You can send him an email at
cruiseplanners7seascruises@msn.com or drop by the
website at www.7seascruises.com. Whichever you
choose, if NCL suits you, book it now!

And while you're chatting with Pat, have him tell
you about the advantages of cruise air during
times of inclement weather. One client is sailing
the Mexican Riviera today because she had cruise
air and insurance. The combination ensured that
she was able to fly to Cabo San Lucas and enjoy a
night in a hotel waiting for her cruise ship to
catch up with her. This after her flight to LA
was cancelled because of weather. While you might
not need cruise air for a daytime, warm weather
flight to Fort Lauderdale, if you're sailing in
winter or going far away-like San Juan, Vancouver,
or Europe, consider cruise air or going a day
early. Insurance is a good idea, too. Pat has
some excellent rates.

And now, for a bit of cruise news...

On March 2, in a traditional maritime handover
ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera,
Italy, Carnival Cruise Lines took delivery of the
new 110,000-ton Carnival Freedom - the 22nd
vessel in the "Fun Ship" fleet. Following its
official naming ceremony in Venice on March 4,
presided over by godmother Kathy Ireland,
Carnival Freedom sailed on its inaugural voyage -
a nine-day Mediterranean cruise from Venice.
Carnival Freedom will then launch a program of 12-
day Grand Mediterranean and Mediterranean & Greek
Isles cruises March 14, operating round-trip from
Rome (Civitavecchia). One of the most technically
advanced cruise ships at sea, Carnival Freedom
features Carnival's Seaside Theater, a poolside
270-square-foot LED screen displaying movies,
concerts and other programming, along with "100
percent bow-to-stern" Internet wireless access
and cellular phone service. Also featured are 22
lounges and bars with dramatic interiors inspired
by prominent design themes of the past decades
and centuries, as well as a 13,300-square-foot
health club, one eighth-mile jogging track, and
extensive facilities for children and teens, part
of Carnival's popular "Camp Carnival" and "Club
O2" programs, respectively.

Carnival Cruise Lines has completely revamped its
"Spa Carnival Fare" culinary offerings,
incorporating the latest trends in gourmet
preparation, ingredients and presentation to
create the ultimate in healthy fine dining
options. Showcasing the talents of Carnival's
master chefs, the new selections will be featured
on all dining room menus and include nearly 50
different salads, appetizers, soups, entrees and
desserts, all lower in calories, fat, cholesterol
and sodium content, and free of trans fat. The
new items will debut on the Carnival Freedom's
European sailings March 5 and be rolled out
fleetwide over the next several months.   New "
Spa Carnival Fare" entrees include Seared Supreme
of Chicken over Grilled Pineapple, Wild Mushroom
Medley and Cured Watermelon (320 calories with 6
grams of fat, 60 mg cholesterol and 310 mg of
sodium per serving), and Peppered Fillet of
Tilapia over Ratatouille, Zucchini Cannelloni and
Asparagus Nage (280 calories, 7 mg fat, 50 mg
cholesterol and 330 mg sodium), while desserts
include Roasted Banana Panna Cotta in Citrus
Broth Garnished with Fresh Berries (150 calories,
2 g fat, 0 mg cholesterol, and 30 mg sodium).

Costa--Europe's Number One Cruise Line continues
its trend of innovation with the introduction of
new 17-night itineraries from Mauritius with
stops in the Seychelles, Kenya and Madagascar
aboard the Costa Marina. Costa is the first
company to market regularly-scheduled Indian
Ocean cruises to these destinations, which they
will begin to offer in the 2007/2008 winter
season. Other exciting news includes Costa's 30%
capacity increase in South America, where the
company will deploy three ships (Costa Magica,
Costa Victoria, Costa Classica) on sailings to
Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. Following the
tremendous success of its inaugural year in Dubai,
Costa will deploy two ships (Costa Romantica,
Costa Europa) rather than one in the region for
the 2007/2008 winter season. Additionally, the
Italian company will once again feature cruises
aboard the Costa Allegra from China, another
industry first introduced by Costa in 2006.

Disney has ordered two new ships from Germany's
Meyer Werft shipyard. Sizewise, they'll be
considerably larger than the 83,000-ton, 1,760-
passenger Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. They'll
be two decks higher and, in fact, these new ships
will measure 122,000 tons and carry 2,500
passengers, double occupancy. Considering though
that because Disney's load factor is a highest-in-
the-industry 150 percent (remember: all those
kids), the typical passenger count onboard will
be in the range of 3,750. Currently, Disney Magic
and Disney Wonder can carry a full capacity of 2,
400. The new vessels will be introduced in 2011
and 2012 respectively.

On 2/21 Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL;
NYSE: CUK) announced that it signed a definitive
agreement to sell its Windstar Cruises brand to
Ambassadors International Inc. (NASDAQ: AMIE).
Windstar Cruises, which operates three sailing
vessels, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Holland
America Line, a unit of Carnival Corporation &
plc. Under the terms of the agreement, Windstar
will be sold for $100 million, $40 million of
which is payable in cash and assumption of
liabilities, and Carnival will provide mortgage
financing for $60 million. The loan will be
payable over 10 years at seven percent interest,
collateralized by the three Windstar ships.
Windstar Cruises' three ships include the 312-
passenger Wind Surf and the 148- passenger Wind
Star and Wind Spirit.

That's about it for this issue. Remember to call
Pat to talk about your NCL cruise. Save 50% on
your cruise deposit, save on your cruise, and
take a third or fourth guest in your cabins for
as little as $100! Summer vacation, here we come!
But the deal expired March 11, so hurry! 1-866-
424-1090!

And until next week, here's wishing you smooth
sailing all week long!

Teri
