Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - February03, 2004

Greetings, Cruise Fans,

Sorry about the delay in posting this
newsletter. We had some provider trouble and
now have it all taken care of. So, I'm back!
And here is this week's edition of the 7
Seas Cruise News!

A hearty "welcome aboard" to all of our new
subscribers. Hope you enjoy this modest
little interruption and you learn a thing or
two about your favorite ships, cruise lines
and ports.

Pat is excited about a couple of really
great 8-day cruises Carnival has to offer-
and the great prices available. On February
17, the Carnival Legend sails the Western
Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale for a mere $
554 per person, double occupancy. (inside
cabin, of course, but hey, this is a 8-day
cruise including all taxes and port charges!!
) Or for those who would like to visit some
different ports, there is an 8-day cruise
from Miami departing February 19 aboard the
Carnival Spirit visiting Southern Caribbean
ports. The price for this one is only $546
per person, double occupancy-including all
taxes and port charges! Talk about a
terrific Valentine's Day gift. Wow. Just
call Pat to book it. 1-866-424-1090 is the
toll-free number.

A note about the amazing Queen Mary 2.
Although we haven't see her up close, she
looks like a beauty. And she is selling fast!
! If you have an interest in sailing the new
Queen this season, do not hesitate! There
are very few inside cabins left for any '04
sailings and prices are high. Pat will,
however, get you the very best discount he
can, so if being among the first on board is
important to you, call Pat now!

And now, some news??¦

Ecstasy replaces the 1,486-passenger
Celebration on year-round four- and five-day
Mexico cruises in October 2004. The
Celebration will be deployed to another
homeport. In turn, the 2,052-passenger
Paradise will assume the Ecstasy's popular
three- and four-day Baja cruises from Long
Beach, Calif., beginning in September 2004,
becoming the newest cruise ship ever to
operate short cruises from the West Coast.
This is a truly elegant, beautifully
appointed vessel offering a wide variety of
on-board facilities and features, along with
stunning interiors that pay homage to the
world's most famous ocean liners. Paradise,
which has operated since its introduction in
1998 as a smoke-free vessel, will no longer
retain that designation.

Beginning Oct. 23, 2004, the 70,000-ton
SuperLiner Ecstasy will launch year-round
four- and five-day service from Galveston,
becoming the only year-round ship to operate
short cruises from that port. On this route,
four-day cruises depart the historic Port of
Galveston on Thursdays and call at Cozumel,
offering the ideal long weekend getaway.
Five-day cruises, departing Mondays and
Saturdays, are particularly noteworthy as
they offer guests the opportunity to visit
two of the Caribbean's most popular
destinations, Cozumel and Calica/Playa del
Carmen, in less than a week's time. Guests
can also combine their cruise with a pre- or
post-cruise land stay during which they can
visit Galveston's many historic sites and
museums, or shop and dine along the Strand,
the city's renowned entertainment district.

Prior to the start-up of their new programs,
the Paradise and Ecstasy will each operate
special one-time 15-day Panama Canal
repositioning cruises.  On Sept. 5, the
Paradise will depart Miami, arriving in Long
Beach on Sept. 20, 2004.  Featured ports
will include Aruba, prior to the Panama
Canal transit, along with Puntarenas, Costa
Rica; and Acapulco, Mazatlan and Cabo San
Lucas, Mexico. This will be the last cruise
the Paradise will offer as a non-smoking
vessel. On its 15-day Panama Canal cruise,
the Ecstasy will depart Long Beach on Sept.
17 and arrive in Miami Oct. 2, 2004. Ports
of call on this voyage will include Acapulco
and Puntarenas, prior to the Panama Canal
transit, as well as Aruba, and Ocho Rios,
Jamaica. After arriving in Miami, the
Ecstasy will undergo a 20-day drydock then
launch year-round service from Galveston Oct.
23, 2004.

Pat says there are great prices available on
these ships when they make their one-way
passage through the Panama Canal. These
repositioning cruises are great values if
you have about two weeks for a vacation!
Call to learn more!

Fincantieri Cantieri Navali S.p.A. has been
contracted to construct a 112,000-gross-ton
cruise ship to be delivered in summer 2006.
To be built at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente
shipyard, the new vessel will have an all-in
cost of approximately 450 million euros. The
as-yet-unnamed ship, which will encompass 1,
502 staterooms with a total guest capacity
of 3,800, will be the largest passenger ship
in the history of Italian seafaring.  It is
expected to be deployed in the Mediterranean
year-round. As an all-new class of vessel
for the line, it will offer innovative
amenities and facilities including a wide
range of formal and casual venues, one of
the largest health and wellness centers at
sea, four pools - two of which will feature
retractable domes - and state-of-the-art
telecommunications capabilities that will
enable guests to use their cellular
telephones while at sea. Sixty-one percent
of the staterooms will feature an ocean view
with 62 percent of those will have private
balconies.

Carnival has rolled out a new all-digital
photo platform featuring the latest
professional digital cameras from Olympus,
the E-1 - the first such cameras to be used
on a cruise ship -along with the cruise
industry's fastest digital photo labs
developed specifically for Carnival by
KonicaMinolta Photo Imaging USA Inc., a
leading photo imaging services provider. The
line has also scheduled a beta-test of a new
photo-retrieval kiosk featuring innovative "
facial recognition technology" that matches
a guest's likeness with stored "Fun Ship"
vacation photos and displays images on a
computer screen for review.  These various
new technologies are creating a faster, more
user-efficient and environmentally friendly
photo operation aboard Carnival's fleet of
20 "Fun Ships." The multi-million-dollar
digital photography conversion is already in
place on six of the line's vessels with
fleetwide implementation expected before the
end of the year.  Beta-testing of the photo-
retrieval kiosk - the first of its kind in
the cruise industry - will begin this spring
aboard the new 2,124-passenger Carnival
Miracle. With the new digital system,
Carnival guests can also customize their
photos with colorful borders, backgrounds
and other features. The conversion to the
digital platform also has environmental
benefits, as the use of photo-finishing
chemicals will be greatly reduced and film
will no longer be required. With the new
system, guests sailing aboard Carnival
Miracle will visit a stand-alone kiosk,
which captures an image of his or her face.
The image is compared to faces of all photos
taken by the ship's photographers during
that voyage.  Once the search is complete,
all photos featuring that guest, including
individual and group shots, will appear on a
touch-screen computer monitor for review.
Selected images are then printed on photo
paper using high quality Konica Minolta
digital printers.

And that's about it from here. Hope winter
is SHORT in your part of the country and the
groundhog stared at shadowless ground today.
Here in South Florida, it doesn't matter,
but we are still Hoosiers at heart, so we
sympathize with everyone north of Orlando.
Be warm-and plan a cruise. That will make
you feel all warm inside!

Until next week, may the sun shine on your
foredeck and a warm wind follow closely at
your stern--or something like that.

Teri
