Greetings, Cruise Fans, Welcome to the July 23 edition of the 7 Seas Cruise News. Pat asked me to remind you that there is still time to get on an Alaskan cruise. There are some bargains in September when "Alaska prepares to sleep." They told us up there that September is a wonderful time to visit, and I believe it. I recall Anchorage in September- golden and beautiful with the early turning of Aspen leaves to yellow against the dark green of the spruce and firs. Give Pat a call to talk Alaska-or the cruise of your dreams. Prices are excellent now. With so many mega-ships afloat, there will be lots of beds to fill this fall. Shop now! You can reach our Pat at 1-866-424-1090 or by email at cruiseplanners7seascruises@msn.com. Drop by the website, www.7seascruises.com to browse-but make sure Pat gets you a quote. His prices are almost always better than what you see on the website. And now, a bit of cruise news... Royal Caribbean's new Vitality Wellness Program promoted well-balanced healthy vacations through a variety of diverse fitness, spa, shore excursion and culinary offerings, including Tai Chi, acupuncture, wellness seminars and even a soothing signature scent. It's a new concept on some RCCL ships. Adventure Theater by Camp Broadway, New York City's famed children's theater group, introduces kids and teens to the theatrical arts by folding folktales, music, dance and cultural elements into an experience for young cruisers. Sure to be a hit among teen cruisers are the Scratch DJ 101 classes, where teens hone their turntable skills in sessions hosted by professionals from New York City's Scratch DJ Academy. Fun, huh? No Smoking, Please! Royal Caribbean has announced that it will no longer allow smoking in staterooms, with the exception of "on the balcony" for sailings departing after January 1, 2008. There will be exceptions for Rhapsody, Splendour and Legend of the Seas, because they are sailing from international ports. However, these ships will convert to the new policy upon returning to their North American ports! Mariner of the Seas will be deployed to Los Angeles on February 22, 2009, making her the first Voyager Class ship to sail from the West Coast. From her new homeport, Mariner will offer West Coast vacationers 27, seven-night sailings to the Mexican Riviera. As Mariner of the Seas makes her way from the East Coast to Los Angeles for the 2009 season, she will offer cruisers a spectacular journey around South America and the historic Cape Horn. Details of these unique repositioning cruises will be announced in the near future. On November 10, 2007, the Rhapsody of the Seas will sail for 14 nights to Australia and New Zealand. Ports highlighted in Australia are Sydney and Melbourne. In New Zealand, she sails to Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Dusky Sound, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Napier, Tauranga and Auckland. Combining a 3- or 5- night pre-cruise land tour is great way to enhance the experience. The Cruise Tour features, Sydney, Ayers Rock, Cairns and Port Douglas. Call Pat for details! For the first time ever, RCCL will provide a ship in Europe year round. This is for both North American customers as well as European customers. Brilliance of the Seas, will offer unique departures to the Mediterranean, Greek Isles and Venice, as well as other exciting itineraries from Barcelona through May of 2009. Brilliance will begin the winter season with a 14-night Canary Islands and Portugal voyage departing on December 7th, 2008. That will be followed by a 15- night "Holidays in the Mediterranean" voyage departing on December 21, 2008. Brilliance will then offer alternating 11-night Egypt and Eastern Mediterranean and 10 night Canary Islands/Morocco voyages. Princess just announced a very special opportunity to enjoy a free upgrade from an ocean- view cabin to a balcony on selected sailings of several of their ships, January through April next year. It's a limited time-only offer, but Pat will be happy to help you secure one of these deals. Ships include the Diamond Princess' 15-day Hawaii, plus Mexican Riviera from LA or San Diego, a Panama Canal cruise and Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean itineraries. Holland America has announced their Community Appreciation fares for the balance of 2007 and part of 2008. These rates offer respectable savings for police, firefighters, active military personnel and school teachers! Remind Pat is you qualify for any of these savings! And, combined with the discount he'll give you, you're going to get a great price! That's always the goal with 7 Seas Cruises. Call us anytime at 1-866-424-1090. We're here to save you money-and take good care of you, too! Smooth sailing! Teri |
