Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - April19, 2004

Hello again cruise fans,

Welcome to another edition of the 7 Seas Cruise
News. We took Easter off last week, so that's why
publication was skipped for a week. This week, we
welcome a few dozen new newsletter subscribers. The
more, the merrier!

This week, Pat would like to remind you that summer
vacation is almost upon us, so if you're planning a
family trip, call soon! Three are still some great
buys for Alaska in May if you'd like to see the
Great North. When you book with 7 Seas Cruises, you
lose nothing by booking early. If your cruise price
would go down, Pat will be happy to get the lower
price for you. Just this week, he was able to save
a family $1400 when a cruise price went down. Now,
not to pick on the competition, but most cruise
agents won't do that for you. They might tell you
that you've been "upgraded," but, in reality, you'
re just able to buy a more expensive cabin because
the cruise price went down. With Pat, you get the
choice-save money or go for it and get a better
cabin. Pat figures that ought to be your choice! So,
plan now and be confident that you are locking in
the best available rate-and if the price goes down,
yours will, too!  Funny thing about Pat-he loves
saving his clients money. He always brags to me
about it. Now, aren't you glad you have someone
like that on your side?

Ok, news.  In conjunction with the launch of the
first year-round cruise schedule from Mobile, Ala.,
-- four- and five-day Mexico voyages aboard the "
Fun Ship" Holiday beginning Oct. 16, 2004 --
Carnival Cruise Lines is offering special
introductory fares of $279 per person. On this one-
of-a-kind cruise program, the 1,452-passenger
Holiday will depart from the Port of Mobile
Thursdays on four-day long weekend cruises to
Cozumel and Mondays and Saturdays on five-day
cruises to the popular western Caribbean ports of
Cozumel and Calica/Playa del Carmen or Costa Maya,
all sunny tropical destinations offering
magnificent beaches, world-famous snorkeling and
diving, championship golf, interesting sites and
attractions, great shopping and distinctive Mexican
charm. While aboard the Holiday, guests enjoy a
diversity of signature "Fun Ship" amenities,
including 10 lounges and bars, three swimming pools,
a 115-foot-long water slide, an Internet caf?©, full
casino gambling, and a comprehensive golf program
featuring professional instruction aboard ship and
excursions to some of Mexico's most beautiful and
challenging courses. Dining options include two
full-service formal restaurants, complimentary 24-
hour stateroom service, and a poolside eatery
offering casual alternatives for breakfast, lunch
and dinner, as well as a 24-hour pizzeria. There's
also "Camp Carnival," a complimentary children's
program with fun, supervised activities for kids
ages 2-15. Other amenities include lavish Vegas-
style entertainment, on-board duty-free shopping,
and a Spa Carnival, health and fitness facility.
The Holiday currently operates four- and five-day
cruises from New Orleans and will continue this
program through Oct. 9 prior to launching service
from Mobile Oct. 16. Now, about the Holiday-nothing
fancy here, just a nice ship aging gracefully. We
sailed with 3 of our daughters and their husbands
and significant others in November on the Holiday-
and we had a great time. The staff is funny and
easy-going. It's a low-stress ship with excellent
food. It's well maintained, offers great
entertainment-and at these prices, a great bargain.

Pat and daughter #3 had the opportunity to lunch
aboard the new Caribbean Princess a couple of weeks
ago-and they were quite impressed. The ship is
quite similar to the Grand Princess and her sister
the Golden Princess, but there are a couple of
noteworthy additions to mention. Carnival must have
seen that Elizabeth Taylor perfume ad with the
movies under the stars because they installed a
30x10-foot screen above one of the pools to allow
for day and night viewing. At night, they'll show
movies. During the day, major sporting events (live
via satellite), movies, kid's programming-all sorts
of things. Pat says the screen is amazing. And the
idea of a nice lounge chair to view a movie from-
well, it sound good to me! There are some dining
innovations, too, including a Bistro-style dining
option with tablecloths and waiters from 10 p.m.
until ??¦well, all night. As I think of it, this is
very smart. First off, it would be a nice place to
be late at night. Secondly, it is much less
wasteful than the traditional-and often poorly
attended-midnight buffet. Very smart, Princess!
Typical of a line that pays more attention to the
small details than any of the others-including some
of the very exclusive, high priced lines. If you
liked to know more about the Princess fleet and the
great places these lovely ships can take you, visit
www.7seascruises.com and click on the Princess
button. Don't believe the prices, however. Pat can
virtually always find a better price for you than
the one supplied by the cruise lines for
publication on our website.

This just in??¦ Celebrity is offering a 7-night
western Caribbean cruise on the Century for Seniors
(that's 55+ and you only need one in a cabin) for
as little as $645 per person, double occupancy,
including all taxes and port charges in an ocean-
view cabin! The ship sails from Ft. Lauderdale on
May 8 and visits not 3, but 4 ports! Let's go!

Pat has other great rates for everyone, not just
seniors, for the Eastern and Western Caribbean on
Carnival for the Victory and Triumph sailing May 1
and May 8. Call him for particulars! 1-866-424-1090
toll-free

Pat also asked me to remind you to add us to your "
safe" mail list. In a few instances over the past
week or two, Pat has tried to e-mail someone with a
cruise quote they requested only to find out later
that his response was caught in a spam-blocker. In
these cases, we found out when a client called and
said, "Hey, I emailed you. Where's my response?"
And the response, of course, was in there with
those annoying refinancing and Canadian drug ads-
and those really strange ones that invite you to
enlarge one thing or another. So please, show
cruiseplanners7seascruises@msn.com as a safe source
for mail. The only thing we want you to enlarge is
your world through great cruise experiences!

And on that note, I will close for this evening. We'
ll do a whole news round-up next week, so stay
tuned!

In the meantime, have a week of soft breezes and
gentle swells.

Teri
