Greetings, Cruise Fans, Welcome to the August 3 edition of the 7 Seas Cruise News. A big "thank you" to all of you who responded to my appeal for business last week. Pat was pleased to hear from so many of you-including a few of you interested in a cruise bargain! He was able to find some great prices for clients old and new. How about you? Ready to sail this fall or winter? Pat will be absolutely delighted to help you. Call him anytime toll- free at 1- 866-424-1090. Just this evening, Pat found an 8-day cruise aboard the Carnival Spirit from San Diego to Acapulco and back for $850 per person in a balcony cabin in November! A huge cabin, nice balcony-and Pat's price includes cruise fare, all taxes and port charges and the fuel supplement! The ship calls at Manzanillo and Ixtapa, too. Ole! He'll find something just as good-or even better for you, too! Just call. Pat wants me to remind you that once your deposit is made, your rate cannot increase, but until the deposit is on file with the cruise line, your rate can fluctuate! So decide as soon as possible and get your deposit in place. And remember, nothing is final (expect your cruise rate) until your final payment, so you can always change your mind! Even cancel-and get every penny back if you cancel before your final payment is due! And now, a bit of cruise news... Gearing up for its 2009 cruise season, Holland America Line will offer Early Advantage savings on a wide selection of cruises and CruiseTours when booked by September 15, 2008. Past guests can save even more, and on select sailings, special fares are available for third or fourth guests who share the same stateroom starting at just $99 per person. With savings of up to $2,200 per person, the Early Advantage promotion encompasses an extensive selection of 2009 cruises sailing to more than 320 ports of call in destinations around the world: Alaska, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Panama Canal, and South America/Antarctica. Highlights of next year's deployment include the first full year of itineraries aboard the new ms Eurodam. After the much-anticipated Wii Fit system debuted across the country last month, Princess unveils this fitness innovation at sea this week after shipboard staff completed special onboard trainings with Nintendo team members. Princess is the first cruise line to offer passengers the chance to get their hearts pumping with the headline-grabbing new release on Wii. All Princess ships, which have long featured Nintendo's popular Wii systems onboard, add the revolutionary Wii Fit balance games, challenging passengers of all ages to put their athletic skills to the test with active video game tournaments such as the ski jump, Hula Hoop or heading soccer balls. Exciting family competitions will be held onboard -- including on the dramatic Movies Under the Stars poolside screens. Youth and teen centers will also offer younger cruisers the opportunity to participate in Wii Fit activities throughout their vacation. Scrapblog, Inc., the first web-based service for creating and sharing multimedia scrapbooks, announced today a partnership with Carnival Cruise Lines to provide its guests with a unique and easy way to share memories from their "Fun Ship" cruises. Carnival is the only cruise line to offer this on-line feature to its guests. Scrapblog is the latest addition to the line' s popular social networking site, CarnivalConnections. com, and offers cruisers an entirely new way to interact and connect though shared vacation experiences. Cruisers can add digital pictures, videos and audio to a customizable Carnival theme to create a personalized, one-of-a-kind multimedia scrapbook of their "Fun Ship" vacation. Five different "Fun Ship"-themed scrapblogs are available, each patterned after the line's most popular destinations: the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Alaska and Europe. Scrapblogs can be shared with fellow cruisers through the Scrapblog Gallery on CarnivalConnections.com or through direct publishing on popular blogging and social networking platforms including Facebook, Blogger, Typepad, WordPress, Flickr and MySpace. That's it for this edition. Until next time, smooth sailing-and call Pat!! Teri |
