Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - May24, 2004

Greetings, Cruise Fans

Welcome to another edition of the 7 Seas Cruise
News, brought to you by Pat Crane, proprietor of 7
Seas Cruises and www.7seascruises.com

Pat has asked me to extend a special "welcome
aboard" to all of our new subscribers! We hope you'
ll enjoy this (mostly) weekly update on cruises,
cruising and some of my favorite things about ships
and ports of call!  (That was part of the deal when
I agreed to write this weekly newsletter-I'd get to
voice my own opinions, not the official cruise
commentary, but what I genuinely think about ships,
ports, menus, etc.)

Pat also asked me to remind all of our dear
subscribers that a Pat Crane-7 Seas Cruise price
includes all taxes and port charges! The only add-
ons will be air and insurance-and only if you
request them!

And now, some cruise news??¦

One of the most exciting opportunities for big
savings right now is an amazing $99 round-trip air
add-on when you book an NCL Scandanavian cruise
this summer. The NCL 12-day Scandinavian Capitals
itineraries feature visits to all of these magical
places.....
Transit of the Kiel Canal -- unique to NCL
Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany
Tallinn, Estonia
Overnight in St. Petersburg, Russia with
optional tour to Moscow
Helsinki, Finland
Stockholm, Sweden
Overnight in Copenhagen, Denmark

This is approximately the same cruise that
Pat and I took last September-and it is a fantastic
opportunity to see a wonderful, friendly,
fascinating corner of our world. If you'd like to
know more, give Pat a call at 1-866-424- 1090 or
drop him an e-mail at cruiseplanners7seascruises@
msn.com I'll be happy to offer my 2-cents worth
about any or all of these ports of call! The $99
round-trip air add-on is good for a number of
departures in June, July and August. Dates vary
depending on the airport, but there is $99 air from
Atlanta, Boston, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Detroit, New
York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and St. Louis.

Royal Caribbean International altered its Bermuda
offerings by picking the 3,114-passenger Voyager of
the Seas and the 1,950-passenger Grandeur of the
Seas to handle the route next summer. Both ships
will alternate five-day Bermuda cruises with nine-
day Caribbean voyages between May and November 2005;
the Voyager will sail from Royal Caribbean's new
port in Bayonne, N.J., while the Grandeur will be
based out of Baltimore. Royal Caribbean said the
reservation books will open on the 2005 Bermuda
cruise season at the end of the month. The
deployment marks the first time the Voyager and the
Grandeur will visit Bermuda; the Voyager also will
become the largest ship to call in Bermuda. The
future deployment of the 1,600-passenger Empress of
the Seas, which currently handles Royal Caribbean's
six- and eight- day Bermuda sailings, has not been
released.

Royal Caribbean ships will return to Labadee
starting this week. Voyager of the Seas will be the
first to visit Labadee, on Monday, followed by
Mariner of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas, as
all three vessels resume their regularly scheduled
calls. The company engaged an independent security
firm to conduct a full assessment of Labadee and
Cap- Haitien, (the nearest large population center)
and determined there would be no danger in resuming
calls.

All three of Princess' 2,600-passenger Grand-class
ships will offer Europe cruises in 2005, a 63%
capacity increase in the region for Princess and
the line's biggest Europe presence to date. The
three Grand-class ships -- the Grand Princess, the
Golden Princess and the Star Princess, plus the Sea
Princess (which will sail with a primarily British-
sourced clientele) -- will offer some new
itineraries for Princess, including a Western
Europe Capitals cruise on the Golden Princess that
calls in London; Paris; Brussels; Amsterdam; Berlin;
Oslo, Norway; and Copenhagen, Denmark. The Royal
Princess, meanwhile, will sail one 14-day cruise
from Rome to London before transferring over to the
P&O Cruises fleet May 12.

Alaska's first lady, Nancy Murkowski, will become
the godmother of Princess' newest ship, Sapphire
Princess, in a special christening ceremony that
will celebrate Princess' long relationship with the
state of Alaska as well as the line's significantly
expanded presence in the homeport of Seattle. The
ceremony, which will take place on June 10, will be
the first naming to take place in the Emerald City
of Seattle.

Thanks to all of you who expressed good wishes for
Pat's recovery. He went back to the surgeon and was
told he was "healing very well."  We hope he's
healthy enough to land a big one when he goes deep
sea fishing on Saturday with son-in-law #2 in
Destin!

Next week's newsletter will be a couple of days
late because of the Memorial Day holiday. If you're
eager to get a price for your summer, fall or
winter cruise, call Pat before Friday noon! After
that, we're off to the FL panhandle for Memorial
Day with daughters 2 and 3, son-in-law 2 and
granddaughter 2!

Here's wishing you a terrific holiday with your
friends and family! Let summer begin!

Teri
