Subject: 7 Seas Cruise News - December13, 2004

Greetings, Cruise Enthusiasts,

Welcome to another edition of the 7 Seas Cruise
News, brought to you by Pat "Cruise Daddy" Crane,
so named because he's taking all 4 of his daughters
on a cruise this week, along with several of our
other favorite relatives and friends-and we just
can't wait! Pat will be busy wrapping up some last-
minute details for clients on Monday and Tuesday,
but don't worry, he'll have time to research a
cruise for you or answer a question if you need him.
He's available about 18 hours a day at 1-866-424-
1090. Send him an email at
cruiseplanners7seascruises@msn.com or stop by the
website at www.7seascruises.com.

There will be no newsletter next week, but I'll be
back in two weeks with a review of the Norwegian
Star and the ports of the Mexican Riviera. In the
meantime, there is plenty of cruise news to inspire
your planning for cruises you'd like in 2005.

Norwegian Jewel debuts in 2005 and you can be among
the very first to experience this state-of-the-art
sister to Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn. Here
are just a few of her features....Purpose-built for
the freedom and flexibility of NCL's signature
Freestyle Cruising. Dine where, when and with whom
you choose... perfect for European voyages which
involve sightseeing at different times of day.
There are ten restaurants and never more than three
with a cover charge. The most opulent suites in the
cruise industry... 5,000 square foot, three bedroom
Garden Villas with private patio with outdoor
dining area and Jacuzzi. New Courtyard Villas...
ten concierge-level suites with exclusive use of
private lounge, butler service, pool areas and sun
deck. More balconies than ever, with three full
decks of exclusive balcony staterooms and suites.
Designed with families in mind, with connecting
staterooms in practically any category combination.
At least one restaurant always open 24 hours in
addition to 24 hour room service.

Holland America Line will offer winter cruises from
New York in 2006 on its new Noordam, the line's
fourth and final Vista-class ship. The winter
cruises, which start Feb. 22, 2006, will be offered
between February and April and again between
October and December, and bookend a summer season
in Europe. The Noordam will be delivered from the
Fincantieri shipyard in Italy in early 2006 and
sail its inaugural cruises from New York. The
itineraries will be 10- and 11-day voyages.
Bookings open Dec. 26. The Noordam will be the
third ship to offer regularly-scheduled winter
departures from New York. Norwegian Cruise Line
began offering year-round New York cruises in 2003
with the Norwegian Dawn and this year said it would
add the Norwegian Spirit to the route in 2005.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has teamed with
Wireless Maritime Services, a joint venture of
Cingular Wireless and Maritime Telecommunications
Network (MTN), to provide a convenient and
affordable new communications option that allows
guests to make and receive calls on their own cell
phones - at their personal numbers - while in
international waters. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.,
which pioneered the use of this service on Island
Cruises' Island Escape, a joint venture with First
Choice Holidays PLC, has now begun to offer this
service to guests sailing on its Royal Caribbean
and Celebrity brands. The new capability is now
available on Majesty of the Seas and is slated to
launch in the coming weeks on Navigator of the Seas
and the Celebrity ship Summit. The company plans to
extend this service to its 29-ship Royal Caribbean
and Celebrity fleet within the next year. Most
cruise guests with GSM phones will be able to take
advantage of the new service, making and receiving
both voice calls and text messages as they usually
do while roaming on land. Guests with data-capable
GSM/GPRS devices may also be able to access data
services, such as email and picture messaging. In
addition, the companies intend to expand the
offering so that customers of CDMA carriers also
can take advantage of the service. Guests will be
billed by their own wireless phone carrier at the
roaming rates set by that carrier. The new
shipboard service will activate when the ship
leaves the range of the closest land-based cell
tower. While in port, cell service will revert to
the local, land-based towers.

Holland America's new Culinary Arts Center - now
available on the Ryndam - provides a first-hand
glimpse of the secrets of world-class chefs. You
will be introduced to the cultures and cuisines
that reflect their ship's itinerary, or a special
occasion through a series of demonstrations,
tasting events, or intimate cooking classes. The
Culinary Arts Center features a state-of-the-art
demonstration kitchen with overhead mirrors and
cameras to project close-ups of the action onto
large plasma screens. Bon appetite!

Half Moon Cay, the highest rated private island in
the Caribbean, just got better! Guests now have
several new and exciting activities to choose from
while visiting Holland America Line's exclusive
private paradise. Guests can saddle up on the
Horseback Riding by Land and Sea excursion for the
experience of a lifetime. First, they'll enjoy a
trail ride to a panoramic vista at one of the
highest points in the Bahamas. Riders then venture
into the ocean for the amazing experience of riding
a horse while it swims. For those who prefer to get
a closer look at the incredible sea life, the new
Stingray Adventure offers guests the opportunity to
swim or snorkel with these gentle and mysterious
creatures in a secluded cove, which is part of a
beautiful 700-acre lagoon. The new AquaTraxR
Watercraft Adventure allows guests to experience
Half Moon Cay from the natural inner saltwater
lagoon aboard a personal watercraft.

Pat would like to suggest that you consider Holland
America for your next family reunion at sea. Along
with Pat's amazing low group fares, Holland America
Line offers these extras free of charge if your
family group includes five or more cabins: a
fountain soda package for all family members with
unlimited fountain drinks on board the ship; your
choice of dinner in the reservations-only Pinnacle
Grill, or unlimited use of snorkel gear, swim mat
and banana boats at Half Moon Cay; and one family
photo per stateroom. For family groups of 10 or
more staterooms, Holland America Line also provides:
the Head-of-the-Family Reward -a  free upgrade for
one stateroom from an outside to a verandah
stateroom.

For Radisson Seven Seas and a select company of the
luxury line's guests, 2005 will be the year of the
long cruise. From a 108-night full globe
circumnavigation to a 56-night roundtrip New York "
Top of the World" adventure to a 93-night Grand
Circle South Pacific voyage, the acclaimed cruise
line is offering its most comprehensive set of
extended itineraries to date. Rounding out the
program, the Paul Gauguin will offer an expanded
series of 10- to 14-night sailings in French
Polynesia. In addition, new onboard programs will
abound fleet-wide, including distinguished learning
opportunities through a joint venture program with
Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society. New
ports of call and shore excursions will also be
introduced. The 700-guest all-balcony suite Seven
Seas Voyager will depart Los Angeles January 5,
2005, on a 108-night voyage that will fully
circumnavigate the world. The seven-segment World
Cruise will reach 44 ports in 27 countries and
feature Le Cordon Bleu?® classes, Spotlight Cruise
themed programming, guest lectures, and 12
complimentary shore-side events, including a Truk
Island scuba dive with legendary oceanographer Jean-
Michel Cousteau and a dinner among the Pillars of
Luxor in Egypt. On June 15, the 490-guest, all-
suite (90% with private balconies) Seven Seas
Navigator will embark on the cruise line's first
ever "Top of the World" voyage, roundtrip from New
York. Sailing a series of northern passages to
Iceland, Greenland and the Baltic, the remarkable
56-night adventure will be available in five
combinable segments, ranging from ten to fourteen
nights in length. Geothermal wonders of the Pacific
Rim, ancient treasures of the Far East, wonders "
Down Under" and romantically inspiring Tahiti will
be explored on the all-balcony suite 700-guest
Seven Seas Mariner's September 7, 93-night Grand
Circle South Pacific voyage. Following the Pacific
Ocean's "Ring of Fire," the seven-segment voyage
will call at 48 ports in 14 countries and include
seven special shore side events.

That's it for this week. Pat and I send our best
wishes to you for this holiday season. Whether
Chanukah or Christmas or Kwanzaa--or all three,
may you be surrounded by those who mean the most
and may you be blessed with peace and love all year.

Teri
