Greetings, Cruise Fans Welcome to another edition of the 7 Seas Cruise News. It's Monday Oct. 3 and I am a little behind with the newsletter writing, thanks in large part to my "day job" which often includes homework! My apologies to all. Pat is also apologizing tonight. He is just recovering from pneumonia. He's back up to speed now 'though, so expect his customary prompt response once again. Pat asked me to remind all of you that he will do whatever he can (legally) to ensure you the best price on any cruise, anywhere, anytime. And you' ll get real, genuine customer service and someone who cares what kind of time you'll have. And unlike every other cruise agent, Pat will keep monitoring your cruise fare after you book and if it goes down, he'll get you the lower price. Cool, huh? Pat is waiting for your calls at 1-866-424-1090. Or you can email him at cruiseplanners7seascruises@msn.com or drop by the website at www.7seascruises.com. Keep in mind, however, that the prices you see on the website are often only guidelines. Often Pat can beat those prices-and he will. So much for the commercial. Let's move on to some cruise news... Beginning December 31, 2006, a passport will be required for all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Beginning December 31, 2007, the passport requirement will be extended to include all land border crossings to or from the above-mentioned destinations. Currently, passports are recommended but not required for travel to and from Canada, Mexico, Panama, the Caribbean and Bermuda. This information is a change from the policy originally announced to take effect December 31, 2005. It was just too much to orchestrate. Classic rock 'n roll harmonies, swinging Big Band sounds and soulful jazz stylings will be in the spotlight on five MSC Cruises' sailings during the 2006 Caribbean season. In addition to a stellar variety of professional entertainers performing nightly in the ship's' lounges, these 11-night roundtrip sailings from Fort Lauderdale on MSC Lirica will feature noted Big Band (Jan. 13, March 20 and April 22) and Jazz performers (Feb. 15) as well as the renowned Ink Spots (Jan. 24). Fares for the World Cruise start at $52,794 per person, based on double occupancy. Port charges are additional. Pat is just itching to see one of these. To you? I sure hope so! Doesn't it just sound incredible?!? Meanwhile, back here on earth... Royal Caribbean has moved the Grandeur of the Seas from New Orleans to Tampa. The ship do 4- and 5-night Western Caribbean cruises during the winter. Call Pat for particulars! That about wraps it up for tonight. Here's wishing you a winning lottery ticket (so you can book that World Cruise and make Pat really happy). Until next week, Smooth Sailing, Teri |
