Position: The opening is for Senior Consultants to support Network Integration and related consulting efforts to support existing and potential new customers in India. The place of work will be either Hyderabad or New Delhi. Skills Required: The individual should be able to provide consulting support on a diverse scope of network-related topics and should be able to analyze and provide recommendations to range of complex customer issues. The individual should be able to work independently when needed, as well as part of the larger team, and exhibit considerable level of ingenuity on solving customer issues. The person should be able to lead efforts and provide direction to junior level consultants as needed. A minimum of 5 years experience with either service providers (preferred) or vendors is required. BS is required, MS preferred. Following are the specific skills: - General knowledge and expertise in all aspects of wireless networks – radio access, architecture, standards, protocols, signaling and services. Familiarity with GSM, CDMA, WiMAX, WiFi - Deeper expertise in either GSM or CDMA technologies - Sound understanding of the next generation network evolution, 3GPPx standards, and fixed mobile convergence - Hands-on experience in testing and integration - Deep understanding of network planning and engineering related issues in a service provider environment - Deeper understanding of Telcordia products, in particular CvAS, is a big plus Willing to travel as needed both in India and outside (Middle East). May require extended stays (up to 2-3 months).
