BLAGOJEVICH TAX TOUR.
Governor Blagojevich did a bus tour to rally support for his tax plan. Typical Democrat, wants to raise taxes to pay for frivolous spending programs like keeping us healthy and teaching our children to read. Read More...

THE SEVEN-PER-CENT SOLUTION.
Commissioner Mike Quigley, State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz and 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney wrote an editorial in the Chicago Tribune calling for a renewal of the 7 Percent Expanded Homeowner Exemption with an increase in the exemption limit from $20,000 to $60,000. Read More...

STRANGER-DANGER.
The state of Illinois would like schools to educate children on internet safety. Attorney General Madigan has begun a campaign in support of the 'Internet Safety Education Act.' No word on when a Myspace page on the bill will be available. Read More...

And the mainstream media was all over this, decrying it as an insult to the troops. Oh wait, they only do that when John Kerry tells a joke.

This Month's Political Top 5 List

The field of 2008 Democratic candidates for the presidency gathered in South Carolina for the first primary debate, hosted by MSNBC. The coverage by MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews made viewers aware of how much is at stake in 2008 and stressed the qualifications of the candidates.
