Iowa votes on Thursday, January 3rd. How to find instant results.
Iowa Democrats will cast ballots in our neighboring state’s “first in the nation” caucuses on Thursday, January 3rd. A number of 46th Ward Democrats are in Northeastern Iowa right now working on this historic election. The 46th Ward Democrats recommend visiting Real Clear Politics to view all the most recent polls in Iowa and other key states. www.CNN.com will have quickly updated Iowa election results on caucus night.

Howard Dean visits 46th Ward Democrats’ Headquarters

The 46th Ward Democrats were honored to have Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean swing by our local headquarters at 4084 N. Broadway. Dean met and took pictures with 46th Ward Democratic activists and thanked them for their hard work in our ward. Dean, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle and the rock band Wilco also appeared at an excellent fundraiser in the 46th ward at the historic home of Dr. David Teplica, a great supporter of our organization!
Early Voting Information
All Illinois voters are now allowed to vote early (with government issued photo id) beginning Monday, January 14th, 2008 through Thursday January 31st, 2008. There is one voting location in every ward in the city open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm as well as a location at the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners at 69 West Washington which is also THE ONLY LOCATION open Sundays during the period from 9am to Noon.
