Editor's Note

In a surprising twist, it seems that Matthew Ashford (Jack) will be leaving Days of Our Lives after all. It seems that the exit will be "storyline-dictated", as Jack's love interest, Jennifer (Jennifer Reeves) is also leaving. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Matthew would be staying. Matthew has played Jack on and off for 10 years. Could this anything to do with the fact that Days has been renewed but only if it dramatically slashes its budget? What does this mean for Billy Warlock (Frankie)?

In other news, though Kim Zimmer (Reva) recently re-signed with Guiding Light, she will be taking time off -- four weeks to be exact. Kim is scheduled to star in Gypsy at the Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan from July 25 to August 6. Storyline-wise, Reva will say goodbye to her kids as her treatments haven't worked. How the show will break Reva back, Kim doesn't know.
