SPOTLIGHT ON...Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Roberts, Days of Our Lives) www.bryandattiloonline.net

The story goes when Bryan walked onto the playground of his Beverly Hills grade school for the first time, the kids wanted to know who his agent was. At home, his mother told him only kids who were actors had agents. For Bryan and his sister, Kristin, to fit in, they needed agents. The siblings began taking acting classes and within a year, Bryan had an agent.

Bryan was born in Kankakee, Illinois but to accommodate his mother's journalism career, the family divided their time between Los Angeles and Florida. The family settled down in California after his mother changed her career to start her own television and film company, Harbour Lights Entertainment. Within weeks, Bryan (and Kristin) landed lead roles in the feature film The Adventures of Grizzly Adams. He also starred in the feature film Arcade. On TV, Bryan appeared on Doogie Howser, M.D., In The Heat of The Night, Charles in Charge and California Dreams.

Bryan graduated from Beverly Hills High School and attended Santa Monica College, majoring in psychology. He planned a career as a psychologist in case acting didn't work out. He was filming in Utah when he became a fan of Days of Our Lives. He and his grandmother would then watch the soap together. When he landed the role of Lucas, it was a dream come true for both of them. His grandmother tapes every single episode he appears in!

Bryan currently lives in Los Angeles. He enjoys weight training and spending time with his son. His birthday is July 29.
